The female percussionist is Nêgah Santos, who is also the percussionist in the studio band on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Several members of that band have played with Lawrence, including Louis Cato, Joe Saylor, and trumpeter Jon Lampley. Lampley is also part of Huntertones, who have also opened a few Lawrence shows. Clyde and Gracie also sat in one night with the Late Show Band.
Great review. You have a great voice yourself and I enjoyed how you illustrated the difficulty of some of the phrasings bringing into perspective the amazing talent of this band!
Gracie’s voice got my attention but I’m actually learning a lot of lessons from Clyde’s singing. It’s annoying how talented this family is…. AND their friends. Man.
Banger reaction to a banger song, as always! Since you like *soulful* sangin & runs, pleaseee react to Jacob Collier's Bridge Over Troubled Waters - I'm not gunna tell you the featured singers so you can see if you can guess them (I'm sure you can) If you aren't familiar with Jacob yet, get ready for actual musical genius: /watch?v=AheurAZ-4kQ

every acoustic-ish video of theirs is a certified banger! gotta react to the rest of them! their latest one (Whatcha Want acoustic-ish) is ridiculous!

"She can really sing" Candidate for understatement of the year? ;) :D
Keep it going with Lawrence, brother! 😊
Absolutely need to watch their newest acoustic-ish session, "Watcha Want." It's incredible.
Dope reaction man! You definitely have to react to the Whatcha Want Acoustic-ish version by Lawrence, definitely worth it
First time hearing them. I'm diggin it. Tho I wish I were still 23, lawwddd
yay thanks for doing it!!! and go Royals :)
Homegirl on the Bongos is the same Homegirl on the Bongos on Colbert's The Late Show.
Sorry - that are Congas not Bongos!

Of course, Clyde has actually been a professional songwriter for over 20 years too so he's had a chance to refine that skill.
Good luck getting that out of head! It's a new illness, I call it being arsed... Audio Repeating Sickness Extreme Delirium. Thanks AB.
Gracie cookin'
If you want to see more of Clyde there is new-ish song in the Acustic-ish series called "Guy I use to be". Its in my opinion even more fire than this!
