Cz457 Lilja 23” barrel first shots

Just put this together for an nrl22 open rifle almost fined still need to swap over triggers from my base class gun it’s a timney straight blades trigger. Set up the lilja barrel with a .043 head space as best I could do with what I had. This really seems to like the sk long range match. Let me know what ya think thanks. Like and subscribe there’s more to come for this build.

What distance are you shooting at this range? 25, 50, 75, or 100 yards? By the way, I have (3)CZ-457 rifles, one MTR, one w/ Lilja Barrel, w/ MDT Oryx Chassis and one Royal. Both the MTR and Lilja both shoot in the .3's with SK Rifle Match 22 Ammo.

I was shooting 50 yards to figure out what ammo it likes. I had an mtr barrel on first that one shot great but I wanted the longer barrel so I jumped and picked up the lilja. So far I’m happy with it still working out ammo shoots sk long range great and Eley match as well. Norma match does pretty good also.

Nice, looks like a little more experimenting with ammo should do it. Try more SK flavors. Hows it balance in the chassis?

I’m experimenting with balance it seems like it could use a little more weight but it’s not bad for now. I’ll be on the hunt for some more sk and see what it likes.

My CZ 457 MTR 20" With the factory barrel shoots sub MOA out to 100 meters, Shooting SK Rifle Match. That's using a rifle vice.

I have not tried a vise that would be interesting to see how it groups without my input.
