Silver's fall, Rocket's ascension, Lance showing what he's made of, the most ambitious crossover since the Avengers and double redemption.
When Ethan had to bench Quagsire due to his...injury...it really gave me flashbacks to when Red benched Nidoking after the S.S. Anne incident. Much different scenarios, but that similar feeling of having to say goodbye to a dear friend who has been with them since pretty much the beginning of their journeys. I just hope Quagsire gets some sort of redemption arc just like Nidoking did.
The more I watched the series the more I appreciate the fact you put Crystal as a second character instead of letting just Gold be the main one!
Oh man that battle of the century has arrived the legendary Trainers vs Team Rocket! Pedro your animation is just pure beauty and perfection.

@@gergelyantal3830 Ethan does not beat red canonically. The only reason he wins, is because the player plays as ethan. If the player plays as any other character, then any other character would win as well. Red, story wise, does not get defeated by anyone. He is the living legend according to actual pokemon data.

Man, the storytelling and animation are so good! And I love these recap episodes that put everything together, I always notice new things. Like the drums of liberation with Ethan! I didn't notice at the time but I really feel like I should have, it was such a good touch!
I love Lance as this Batman-esque figure, too. We didn't see much of him in Red, so it's great to see him being fleshed out like that in this.
The deafening silence when Dragonite literally deafened itself is such a fantastic touch, too. Makes everything feel so impactful.

I've been dying for this to come out ive watched the red movie about 6 times now and johto was always my favorite generation despite all the hats it gets I can't wait for the full story to be out!!!!
I love the Johto series too. Honestly, I welcome a remake of the games for the Switch.
24:24 You know, it just now occurred to me while watching this part again that Silver's Feraligator, who's been forced to fight against Ethan's Typhlosion and Kris' Meganium up to this point, actually GREW UP alongside them in Elk's Lab.🤯 So that look of guilt it has as it steps up to stand beside them for the final battle isn't that of one who is now joining forces with a former enemy whom it had previously come close to killing; it's that of one who is returning to the side of its former FRIENDS whom it had hurt after having gone down a shameful path 😭

God damn this arc goes hard. Silver's turn, Typhlosion's evolution, Team Rocket becoming more powerful, and Lance taking action. So many good parts this time around it's hard to pick out the best. With everything Silver has done and been through I can only wonder how he'll move on from this. Boy got real brutal this arc. Archer really took a huge step with Team Rocket; man was not playing around this time around. You're really showing just why Lance is 'Him', why he is the 'Goat'; but damn I wasn't expecting his Dragonite being just as hardcore too. Love seeing Joey and Kirk join the fight. Kinda sad Whitney isn't here to get it back in blood; there is still next part so who knows. May showing up with Rayqauza and the Sinnoh Trio? Was not expecting that and I love it. God I'm excited for next part. Keep up the solid work as always.

I love this. It’s just so cool. And it just brings everything together so nicely. The friends they have made, the two different yet same journeys that Gold and Crystal are on, and their hearts that love Pokémon more than anything. I love this storytelling, and we get to see Silver regretting his choices, he didn’t want to be team Rocket in the first place, yet it was all he knew, and now he gets yo stand up against his inner demons and join the side he’s wanted to be on since the beginning. And this retelling of the story not with us getting the legendary Pokémon , but rather fighting them as they suffer under team Rockets control. I know our team of friends will pull through. Pedro, keep up the amazing work, you have been telling a true masterpiece of a story, and we love it, seeing the old stories come together with a fresh coat of paint is truest amazing. Thank you for your hard work.
Absolutely love seeing these compilation episodes and seeing everything seamlessly tied together. It's crazy that the time span of this episode is only about 2 days! It's also kinda funny seeing Gold reach the top of the building and the other protags probably thinking "who even is this guy?" XD
Anyways, I love catching all the small details I missed the first time though like Jasmine being with Volkner and artistic choices like the angles and and sounds used I'm certain scenes.
Looking forward to what comes next!

That was the darkest compilation we had yet!
I think the ending is a little to fan service for me, but I understand that it could not be like in Kanto with all the gym leaders teaming up against Rockets, because they stopped them beforehand. Jasmine was the only one who escaped and asked for help from outside, but it could have been settled only with gen 1 and 2 characters, like for example Blue and new Elite four. I understand that this serie needs something to stand out and survive (with more fan service, hello giggle physics), but it stands down the scenario and for an ultra like me who watch your videos no matter what, I feel less impacted with this ending because, even if this was teased by Jasmine, it was for me just some fan service and wasn't meant to be an impactfull thing that resolve all the problems.
Anyway, I still like the serie and look forward for the next episode, we're close to the end❤❤❤
The thing about not bringin the Elite 4, is that the point of this, is that Kanto is being protected to keep running safe. Gyms, League, etc, not being tormented by Rockets again. See how Blue goes to league, and let Leaf there. After the fight, with the resolve of the other protagonists, I believe it will all make sense - Even because to finish Ariana plot I've been writing about Mars taken by looker since Red 22, I needed a bit of Sinnoh here ;)

Thank you!! I love this series, but bringing in May and the Sinnoh protagonists felt empty to me because even with the setup, it feels too much, especially with the Sinnoh trio. They’ve already dealt with their own regions’ threats, why do they need to be here too? It makes Johto seem too weak to defend itself.
Yeah, I kind of agree with you,As much as I love this series, I think bringing in the Hoenn and Sinnoh protagonists this early was a little forced. Especially considering that team rocket usually far less dangerous than Magma/Aqua and Galactic.
Also Dawn using Infernape when she’s started with Piplup in both the Anime and Manga just feels wrong.

Quilava's evolution, especially Gold's eyes at 8:04 was an homage to Gear 5! Perdo congratulations! adding some easter eggs here and there spice (the already spiced up) story!!

The damn rollercoaster of emotions that this was has my heart in knots. Seeing all the rocket efforts, like here (more than in games or anime, almost at the level of manga) are so epic that they are really scary. Ariana being a loyal wife but a terrible mother for bringing Silver into that world, the idea that one day Mars will meet his father (or mother at this point) and the arrival of the Hoenn characters has me in stitches. . When I work my first salary will be donated so that this man can continue with this (and maybe give a nice ending to Ariana and Giovanni... dreaming is free XD)

This series is great! The G/S/C story is being spectacular 👍 In addition to knowing all the references within the story. btw, I hope Ethan and Clair get along, better than in the games. How will Whitney react? We'll find out. Keep it up Pedro ✌️ this story is turning out to be wonderful.
