This was an old, rusty (and destined for the scrap heap) satellite dish that I stripped down, repainted and converted into a versatile wall-mounted feature light.
It is fitted with an LED Edison screw lamp and in-line switch, with beautiful electric blue, braided flex and matching lampshade and trim.
A piece of recycled oak became the mounting plate, with four holes to take 10 x 50mm coach screws.
Adjustable knobs allow for tilt and swivel, and it’s ability to cast different light effects is great if you try different types of Edison lamp.
Fully tested and PAT (EET) certified for safety and compliance.
