Just came here to inform everyone about something I've been saying for years, this is addressed for all the Stafford sceptics. 3 weeks ago Stafford became the tied 7th best qb OF ALL TIME when it comes to game winning drives with 42 game wining drives.
    1. Payton manning 54
    2. Tom Brady 53
    3. Drew brees 53
    4. Big Ben 53
    5. Dan Marino 47
    6. Brett Favre 43
    7. Matt Ryan. 42
    8. STAFFORD. 42
Today he got his 43rd Game winning drive and is tied 6th and he is only 33. This is the REAL STAFFORD. He is CLUTCH, that's it... I've heard many critics about his inconsistencies and have unfairly overcriticized him about his play in a new system. THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS, If Stafford ever gets freed from that cursed franchise that yields no good for anyone who enters the door, ITS OVER. Guess what? Superbowl in the first year on a new team. Heck he has produced 2 of the greatest qb-reciever connections of all time, MEGATRON and Kupp (1 and 2) . What more is there to say? Stafford has been elite for 7 years straight and is a CERTIFIED HOF'er. Bye...

As a fan of football, I'm so happy to see Stafford finally get his shot. However, I hate that the Rams essentially "bought" their way to a superbowl. Like, it doesn't feel "homegrown," if you get what I'm saying.
Edit: I just hope this doesn't become the norm in the the NFL. That's all I'm saying.

Hold on a second…. So it was ok for Tom to go to Tampa. Gronk come out of retirement and sign AB. But this one doesn’t feel home grown. Eyes open it has already become the norm. It’ll follow the same trend that happened in the NBA when bron went to a stacked team.

Rams operate under the same Salary Cap & Organizational Rules every other Team. This ain’t MLB or NBA. You can’t buy a Team. The Rams have just challenged the general assumptions of Team Building along the way. Sam Snead our GM is truly Maverick. His 🖕🏽to the importance of the draft to build Teams is challenging to a lot of beliefs that you build a Team through the Draft. Snead also hired a 30 year old Coach (who already growing his own Coaching Tree). Truth is Rams Ownership are playing a High Stakes Game &got it all on the table.

@@sirob584 Never said that was "okay" either. But that's just it, yes, Tampa Bay won the superbowl, but when you think about that, do you think "the Buccaneers won the superbowl," or do you think, " Tom Brady and a bunch of pro-bowlers went to TB and won the superbowl?" When I think of the Rams right now, I still see Stafford as a Lion, OBJ as a Giant, Von Miller as a Bronco, Eric Weddle as a Charger, etc. I mean, it's totally within the rules to do what they're doing. Players have always gone "ring chasing" near the end of their careers, I just....I don't know. There's something "magical" about a sports team that drafts the majority of their good players that I don't feel with the Rams (or the Bucs last year). I just hope it doesn't become the norm, that's all I'm saying.
Edit: And yes,, I know Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald were drafted by the Rams. Still, feels weird to me

@@robertnewell4054 Hey man, I'm a Chargers fan, so I'm a big fan of McVay and his coaching tree, haha (though, them losing Brandon Staley and immediately going to the SB doesn't make me feel all that great). All I'm saying is, let's say the Rams win it (woo-hoo! Yay!) Stafford is immediately a first ballot HoFer (deservedly, the guy's great). Not that I think SB wins are the metric for great QBs. But, he gets his SB with the Rams, all the casual fans who never respected him while Detroit wasted his career all suddenly praise him, and then when he retires into the HoF, he for sure goes in as Lion. Don't you wish you could have won it with Goff? Are you ever really gonna see Stafford as "your guy?" I mean, yeah, I'm sure winning it with Stafford is a heck of a lot better than losing it with Goff, but.....I just hope it doesn't become the norm, that's all I'm saying.

@@chrisb3892 it couldn’t have happened with Goff. Wouldn’t have happened. As a fan of the colts I wish we could’ve gotten Stafford. Does it mean he’d be my favorite all time qb for them? Nope but it does mean I’m happy he came and won a ring that he so desperately deserved. I’m still happy to see Stafford possibly getting that ring. Dude is a stud. Always has been. But this game is a team sport. 4 or 5 players can’t do it all by themselves. Lions did nothing really well in drafting or trading draft picks to help Stafford. Wish I could’ve seen megatron and Stafford go as a package deal back in the day or even megatron go to a team like NE when Tom was there or somewhere he would’ve been able to pick up a ring.
