I started in Black 1 in 2016, long after it died tho, but the story is to this day the best in all the games I ever seen, better than Moon, better than Legends Arceus, even better than SoulSilver. If he does play it, I hope he plays both of the versions such as Black 1 then Black 2 in order to get the correct story and timelines across Unova. Imagine if he plays White 1 and loves Zekrom, then he plays Black 2 and he sees N using Zekrom.
