- Hottest new AP in the market is the 16202BA. This new ultra thin Royal Oak in yellow gold with smoked dial is the 50th anniversary model. From all the releases that AP has recently put out, this has to be the one that most got my attention. Audemars Piguet has been experimenting with these smoked dial variations for about a year now with a few other colors previously released like green and blue. I was always a fan of the original boutique edition 15202BA with the solid yellow dial. This 50th anniversary release will surely be a hot model with all the athletes and celebs going crazy over it!

Complete Stunner!!! Only critique is that I wish the fume was a bit more gradient and appeared less like a dark ring around the perimeter and more like a gradual fade from center outward.

The dial is fantastic, not sure how you lit that final shot but WOW you could earn a fortune just selling that digital picture, I love the green dial but this is on another level.
The entire purpose of the code 11:59 was as a development bed for their future releases. Many people overlook this fact which is why they do not like the code range

Eric…..you absolutely killed it reviewing this piece. Definitely my favourite release of the 16202 line up this year. I’m not sure if it looks a little smaller than the 15202 versions as the new pieces seemed to be more refined giving that smaller sized look. Even the new anniversary 41mm models look smaller than the previous 41mm because again they seem to have been slightly more refined making them more wearable for guys and girls with slightly smaller wrists.

I usually feel like the all yellow gold is a little too gaudy. The presi can pull it off just because it is a classic, but still feels gaudy. I am surprised that I actually like this one as much as I do. I'll have to check it out in person, because it does scream "new money", but that dial is fire! Love the content and videos as always Eric - Happy 4th buddy!

Do you know I do love watches all my life I have a very expensive collection with all the Hining brands AP attack Rolex Patek Philippe but no reality why we were these watches his soul men will give us respect and women will want us I mean no woman’s gonna come to you in the bar or nightclub and say wow you got a new moment that’s not the kind of woman you want woman just want to see that you look like you got your shit together and you’re on top of your game and then it’s game on from that point so at this point in my life in my 40s I don’t care about movement only way to woman moves in bed and that’s better than any 5980 movement or 50 anniversary edition lol

Im sorry but Ill never know why so many like the royal oak. I think its one of the mist ugly watches on the planet. The integrated bracelet, the weird octagon bezel and industrial screws and weird bulging crown. Its just so very ugly. I don’t understand it.
