dyson fan here! but been contemplating between this and tinecos. could you do a detailed review on the quality of the self-cleaning system for both? i would like not having to worry about the dirty smells and replacing dirty mop pads frequently. and something easy enough for my parents to use!
Glad to see you like it. I love mine so much. In fact it is the best hard floor cleaner I have ever used. Wondering you are going to try the new Dyson Digital Slim cordless vacuum? It is half price right now at only $250.
The digital slim is basically the same thing as the V12 without the particle detector and the extra laser head and other attachments. 20 mins less runtime too. I own my own vacuum service company, Dyson’s are by far the best bagless machine, and definitely the best cordless, but the v12 and the digital slim have a very poor cyclone design, you really can’t take it off and apart to clean like every other model. Since the bin is so small people tend to overfill it and clog the cyclones because no one can ever seem to clean the filters often enough or properly. If you have carpet, you wanna get a Dyson cordless with the high torque head not the 50 Watt version that comes with the digital slim and V12. The v8 runs 299 on sale and is a far better machine. Same run time, but parts availability proven good cyclones that you can clean. Better filter design too
I think people need to realize that most people will not clean up messes that you test. So I think the Dysons G1 version 2 and Nav 360 version 2 will fix many of the issues. Man, I love your videos!
First off, thank you thank you for doing this review. I have been waiting for a while for someone to do a thorough yet, trustworthy and unsponsored review of the g1wash. You should do a comparison of dyson g1wash vs tineco s7pro. I own the s7pro and am not impressed at all. Im actually looking to buy the g1wash to do a comparison hoping to eventually return my s7pro. The s7pro is the exact same price as the g1wash. Despite the self propellsion, it's still too heavy for me to use as a daily mopping. The suction power isnt all that effective either. I have all hard wood floors and use my s7pro to mop daily to eliminate fine dust, hair, and small debris.
Great video! Are you going to be reviewing Narwal’s S20 pro? Would love your thoughts and it’s comparison with the Bissell Crosswave omniforce edge. Thank you!
As a Dyson and gadget fanboy I should need this. But, it looks too much work, it’ll look dirty after a week and possibly smell, plus a £20 spin mop does the same job. Thanks for the interesting video though.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 so it doesn't use any cleaning solution just water? I wonder if it would be able to use a mixture of water and vinegar? But $700 is alot though... but it's a Dyson and the weight of the it. It's a actually strong motor. Thank you for the review 👍🏻
I ended up sending mine back. Too expensive and too much hassle to clean after use. If you remove the roller to air dry, the Dyson doesnt sit flush in the stand. Need to replace rollers ever 6 months at $60.00. You can get a steam Shark for under $190.00
I’ve been looking at this machine for a while. It fits in my home cleaning routine but price turns me off. Others offer many more features at a lower price point. Dyson is Dyson so idk

❤thanks for the demonstration that you put in effort.
My pleasure 😊

Looks to me like it's more work to clean the mop afterwards than actually cleaning the floor...
So all new brand vacuums are useless, too, since you'll need to clean up their filters instead sweep the floor with a broomstick
Seems a great machine. What is your thoughts on the Tineco 5 or 6 versus this Dyson?

Thank you for your video. I’ve been waiting for your review. Others are too artificial or preplanned?
Dyson says you dont have to vacuum 1st before using the g1wash. Can you mop and vacuum all in 1 like a wet dry vac?

The logo facing the wrong direction on the cwt irks me

It work on carpet? Thanks
No it only works on hard floors not carpets.

$700, I don’t think so. I will stick with the Tineco.
Try Tineco Floor ONE S7 PRO Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner, it is in the same price range, much better than Dyson.
He already did

Seems like way too much maintenance after each use. That said, most people aren't going to be using it to clean up so much mess in one go.
