Id say you got it overall. I'm pretty new, but for the most part limited characters are solid enough out of the box. T5'ing the 4 star, and just getting the tied in logistics is likely more than enough. there's no point in going crazy to minmax because the main value of it is higher ranking in anything thats tied to, so things like Nsim, but if your focus is just stabilizing your Digicash intake as a newbie you do NOT need to go nuts. the best logistics are almost always pointed out for you for the limited ones as well, and failing that, theres specific guides for logistics substatting... but if your trying to make a perfect roll on them out of the gate your going to go crazy, and you can recoup the majority of logistics XP you spend if you need to, so there's no reason to go mad on that unless it's an event logistics your trying to optimize, because thats your best chance, like with IS lyfe now. Unlimited characters are a more murky situation, but theres resources to help for that. and in the event you really have nothing else to go for, you can pull for dupes on them passively from the freebie draws in this category to help get them to a manifestation that tips their power into a higher scale (thinking of Marian/Fritia/Yao in this case). there are some Manifestations that do rock of course, but if you can wait and prioritize you have the fragments to farm for any 5 star without the dupes, which is nice in itself. the games overall, and maybe it's my inexperience showing, seems reasonable about it's items and characters. that said i wish i had better luck, because I'm still in the stage of few viable weapons, and i am a bit worried about whats coming next when it comes to limited characters to roll for. I know people are enjoying IS lyfe, but i pulled for Kaguya on the rerun and am waiting for eatchel instead, and then from there I'm wondering what the next patch is going to bring. exciting days in this game, thats for sure.

I'm waiting to see exactly what her element and abiltiies are. she seems to be a ballistic DPS buffer and the pre-rolled Logis looks good enough that unless you wanna truly min-max it'll outperform other options unless we discover something else. if she can work as a DPS any newbie would be in for a great time. I'm more thinking about the next new 5 star and rerun. if Eatchel was 1.6 and the rerun announced now, then Cherno may be next patches...

I need a 3rd element that isn't Coronet Fenny. getting Cherno would net me Ice (katya), Kinetic (Marian), and Chaos (Cherno)... that said, I had to pass on IS lyfe for Kaguya, and i only have enough in my account right now for Eatchel when she arrives. who knows whos going to be the new 5 star. i hope it's someone I don't need.
Getting the 4 star weapon is simple, farming it to Tier 5? That was slow. A minimum of 1350 materials when the hardest stage only gives 15 per run/skip.

when you farm the logistics for limited characters, you don't get any fodder, do you? so strange. you have to farm that, and then once you get the pieces, you still have to go farm the standard logistics just to something you can throw in
hmm eventually in a few patches you kinda just gain money, i struggled for a few patches but just keep at the events and eventually you will just have too many resources ahahaha
How are characters too expensive to build ? I mean if you wanna build almost all the characters than probably yeah but you can't do and not supposed to do that with gacha games atleast untill you have a well invested team or two than you can start building more but you do get more than enough to build some other than manifestations farming which takes forever and getting right stats on logs but that all is more endgame anyways

How do you farm Lyfe's 4 star weapon? just recently started
Farm the materials node on the event, if you have it unlocked. It should be the middle left of it. Doing the hardest node once let's you skip it

Getting dupes is basicly speed running Manifestaions. But I'd advice people T2ing their weapon first, before considering it.

You should also emphasize on not getting crit rate (aka shooting crit rate, skill doesn't crit) at alll on logs because weakspots hit = 100 crit
