- The long-awaited bakaneko, i mean bakeneko review, I don't know why I took so long to review this keyboard because it is a banger for the price that comes dangerously close to very expensive higher-end keyboards.

you should do a stabilizer comparison including durock v2, tx stabs, staebies, cherry clip ins, cherry clip ins with thicker wires, c3 v3 stabs, cherry screw ins, maybe some kbd stabs idk.

"usual cnc" - keyboard folks have no freaking idea how expensive it is to manufacture CNC bases out of billet aluminum. That's why these boards in the group buys cost such a ridiculous amount of money. Casting with good quality control works for 99% of what is needed - anything more is honestly a waste of money for all but the most discerning/wealthy

the biggest difference in quality would anodisation vs paint: ano is basically infinite, but paint can be eroded and corroded. but yeah the billet whcih is cnc milled is cast anway, so there's not really any difference in quality, just limitations of design
So why they just don't make casted cases instead of cnc? I'm totally fine with casted case as long as the finish is nice
@@Ukiya44 the tooling to create the molds to cast the keyboard are quite expensive, so you have to have to be able to offer the board at very high quantities which not that many vendors can support the logistics of.

@@Ukiya44 The Akko mod line up are cnc aluminum that are gasket mounted. The mod005 a 65% is only 130$

that paint job on that thing is one of the worst i've seen. the orange peel is terrible on it. then looking at the price of this thing. id expect a bit better paint job tbh. absolutely terrible thats for sure.

did they paint that thing w a 2 dollar harbor freight paint gun lol. that paint job is absolutely terrible wow. the orange peel is absolutely terrible on that thing. i bet it would benefit from a proper wet sand and buff job.

my durock v2 stabs sound not that good. I use krytox205g0 for the housing and and dielectric grease. It still ticks on the upstroke :( L

Do you need to remove the entire O-Ring and PCB from the case if you wanted to swap switches or if you could just take them off from when inside the case? I just don't know how the O-Ring with hold in place if all switches are removed 🤷♂
