Rail Chase 2 is a Sega Model 2 arcade light gun game developed by Sega AM3 and published by Sega. Released in the United States in 1994, and in Japan in June 1995, the game is a sequel to Rail Chase, and like that game seats players in the pneumatic "Magical Bench Seat", which tilts and rocks with the in-game action.
This was always the better of the 2 literal rail shooters, of Rail Chase 2. It's kinda trivial that there isn't a rail chase 3, because what is there to really extend from this kind of gameplay besides graphics?
Fun fact: if you hold both 1p and 2p start, and rotate the joystick, until the bar is full, you can shoot the plane that they rescued, therefore you get a secret "bad ending".
