- Rail Chase 2 (レールチェイス2) is a 1994 light gun railshooter developed by Sega AM3 for the Model 2 arcade board. The game is essentially a zanier version of the minecart chase from Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom.

This takes the term "rail shooter" to a whole new level!
This game's music is composed by Maki Morrow and is also responsible for the "Sonic The Fighters" soundtrack. I knew the style sounded familiar.
That was the same thing i was thinking, its like the soundfont for the music is kinda similar to Sonic The Fighters
It also reminded me of the old arcade version of jurrassic park

It's because this game was made by Valve
the guy who made portal series,counter strike series and half life 1 and 2.

A few years later they released this game called Magical Truck Adventure which is the same general idea, but... really weird. Look it up.
アニメ終末トレイン最終回で、レールチェイスのような追跡バトルシーンがあり、驚きでした。なんと西武2000系イエローが西武2000系ホワイト武装トレインを追跡しながら攻撃されるシーンで、迫力満点でした。アニメ終末トレイン最終回、とても最高でした。

I remember me and another kid pooled our quarters to beat this game. Others thought we were stupid but we felt it was worth it.
I did wonder of course how that cart you ride is so durable and never lost momentum.

To be honest, this Rail Chase is a little bit friendly in animation and game style rather than the first one. Cause the first one is always make me terrified when you lose. 😖

+Cameron Moyer It's Indiana Jones basically. I'm guessing Flint grabbed something the pseudo-nazis were after and now they're after him. Goal is to escape.

According to the back story of the game, Mary was forced to work for EKKL developing weapons for them. Flint rescues her, and this is the escape.
Only just discovered the Rail Chase games yesterday, looks a great fun rail-shooter. May I ask how you managed to get Rail Chase 2 on your model 2 emulator? It's not on the list of games on mine.
It's okay, I got it working now. I had to download version 1.1 of the Model 2 emulator.
