- Virtua Cop 2 (バーチャコップ2) is the 1995 sequel to Sega AM2's hit Model 2 light gun railshooter, Virtual Cop. Like its predecessor, VC2 also received a faithful port to the Saturn. While the arcade version of the game certainly looks cleaner and upscales quite well on an emulator, the Saturn version does have a few perks of its own, including an improved CD-quality soundtrack and a pretty cool extra route on the third stage.

10:28 LOL, what?! "Virtua Coffee" eh? Yeah, I'd have a cup of that for sure! Man, I don't think I've ever actually seen this game before, I've only played the first one and that was a long time ago at the arcade. I remember trying to emulate "The House of the Dead" about 5 years ago, but it was pretty horrendous, with lots of slowdown and graphical glitches. Looks like things have certainly improved, so I'll give it another go!

Great playthrough, imo you can't beat the accuracy of the mouse.
Aaron McBride Model 3 emulation really isn't good enough at this point. I think Daytona 2 and Scud Race are the only games Supermodel halfway-decent, and even they still have a bunch of issues.I may play both of those games at some point, but I need to get around to playing Daytona and Daytona: Circuit Edition first. I'll probably buy an Elgato or some other capture card before the end of the year so I can record some of the Model 2 and Saturn releases that came out on the 360. We'll see.
Aaron McBride Oh yeah, and I have on Model 2 game recorded that been sitting on my hard drive for about two months now. I'm just waiting for RUclips to implement 60fps support since it's a game that would really benefit from it.
+Saturn Memories Thats' a real shame, emulation really is a fine art. I've been waiting a few years to play time crisis on mame but it's just not playable enough for my liking lol. Yeah you should upload more 'Arcade emulation' videos. I'm not a big fan of the saturn(mainly because i didn't have one back when they came out) i did however have a dreamcast when i was 10 in 1999 lol. And of course the megadrive/genesis. I've also heard the saturn is a bitch to emulate haha. mainly down to it's 'complex' hardware...allegedly.

Saturn emulation has actually gotten quite good over the last ten years. All of the Saturn games you see on my channel are emulated. SSF, the emulator that I use, has broad compatibility and a very good track record when it comes to accuracy.
If you like arcade games, you really ought to give the Saturn a try. It has a vast library of ones mostly from the '80s and early '90s. Many are arcade perfect (something that couldn't be said of most PS1 conversions of the same games), and quite a few have additional features like arranged soundtracks and extra game modes.
Saturn Memories Really..i'll check out that out, i thought you were using proper hardware so it must be good lol. Hey do you know anything about PC gaming? i know it's unrelated but you seem pretty knowledgeable..
I really want to play this properly with my Act Labs light gun. I've adjusted the calibration manually in testmode, but half the time, the gun won't reload off-screen and just shoots at random spots instead. The gun reloads fine on House of the Dead though. Any idea of what's causing the issue?
