    Surely you use "funny pipe" these days? Would truly like to see updated info on installing/repairing the underground pipes etc.

    5:30 Make sure loose dirt isn't near open pipes,otherwise you might need to clean or replace sprinkler filters and to flush system.Sure sign this has to be done is a head that isn't putting out water minimally or not at all.Easy fix, just time consuming and frustrating.Yeah,personal experience.😏

    Hi, I just installed a SST-600o for 4 zones, used common and 1-4 zones but did not use the master valve section on the item. I read the description on the installation page but did not understand it. What is the master section for? Thanks

    • @irvhahaa13
      @irvhahaa13 2 года назад

      Better late than never…. But the master valve section is basically just a section for the “master valve” which is a valve that acts as a emergency shut off should your regular valves go bad and stay on. Basically think of it as a main valve before your other valves. Nowadays a lot of people don’t put master valves for many reasons but when that happens the water then is held directly at the manifold valves so if one does go bad it will keep that zone running sometimes without you even knowing which is what causes high water bills. Master valve prevents that from happening.

    Hi, Similar to Ersen question above I am unsure if I should be using the master control. I have three vales and a standalone backflow control. It also has two wires on it.

    If rocks damage the pipe system, why were brown rocks under the installed plastic pipe?

    • @Ryan44Hutch
      @Ryan44Hutch 7 лет назад

      TREAL406 3 years later...the gravel or rock is there to prevent the valves from getting buried in case of flooding or the valve breaks

    Perhaps a video on replacing a drip system with a sprinkler system and vice versa?

    I was wondering what training other than Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship completion is needed to become an irrigation specialist apprentice, (in your district)?

      Work at a golf course as an irrigation technician in training. Paid and learn so much about irrigation on 1” to 12” water lines that makes this seem like peanuts in comparison.

    Video to old now in Texas requires back flow device best RPZ or DC of course city's choice the brand is your own choice rain bird have quality top notch systems we trying one system costing 20,000 dls the only good thing is the rain sensor after that Rain Bird do same as Calsense units in my opinion not worth spending this money when you get something same or close 20, grand vs 4000 huge difference still control the system by computer or mobile phone .

      white is common so it attaches to one of each valve wire (doesn't matter which one of the two wires) then You choose what color for each of the valves other wire. for example, valve #1 - yellow, valve #2- red, valve #3, blue....you decide the color for each.
