They got stopped on a 1 yard "sneak" that they've always been stopped on in the past prior to this season. Not indicative of the quality of the team.

Keep in mind Mahomes played against the #1 unit on Cards while the Chiefs backups played against the Cards backups

Man idk what theyre feeding these guys in KC but that depth chart is good down to 2nd and 3rd string. As a steelers fan, i will forever be worried about this team as long as Andy Reid is there, of course with Mahomes and other weapons. Theyre ridiculous and will be for a while

Mahomes, of course but PLEASE keep Buechele and Gabbert. The O Line was pretty good and so was the D Line. Smith-Marsette (I hope that's his last name) but after looking at the highlight, he's proving to make the final roster. ISM looked good, but there is no room for him on the roster. As of now Justyn Ross is #7 WR and they kept 5 last year...most expect them to keep 7 just because of the depth at WR...IF they do, it will be Toney, MVS, Skyy, Rice, Watson, Ritchie and Ross. We THINK

He seems like he has good instincts with movement. I think he could be a consistent producer. It's weird, 4 months ago I thought we would barely have anyone to throw to. Now, I think we have more people than we would need, it's crazy what Reid can accomplish.

The offense line was great
I honestly don't know how the Chiefs are going to finalize their WR group for this season. They kept 6 WRs last year, but this year they legitimately have 8 guys who are all worthy of being on the final roster. MVS, Toney, Moore, Rice, Ross, Watson, James, and Smith-Marsette.
How do you cut two of those guys? A lot of people say Moore or Watson, but Moore still has a ton of potential and had two huge moments for KC in the playoffs last season to win the SB, and Watson and Mahomes definitely have a great chemistry together.
You can't cut any of them. Does anyone really think Toney will be ready week 1? I don't. IR him.
After watching Smith Marsette he has to be on the active roster.
And you don't cut Moore or Watson or MVS.

It's a tough pill to swallow but you cut Blaine Gabbert and make Shane Beuchel QB2. He has earned it.
