Dear Mr. Wagner, I have just finished my training and study of SCSI Immigration court interpretation. You are wonderful and very professional knowledge. I have been working with immigration officer and court telephonically for years. Until recently that I am about to changed to in person "In court room" interpretation service so new company required me to pass a test. But all the professional skill you taught me, which is so critical for all the interpreters to learn. Thank you for creating this wonderful program.

The SIMO section is 7 minutes, not 4.This is copied from the CA Court Interpreter manual and it says as follows "...is 800 to 850 words in length, is recorded at an approximate speed of 120 words per minute, and is about seven minutes long..." It threw me off when i heard you say 4 MINUTES, ITS ALMOST TWICE THAT.
Thank u for all the other great tips! Much appreciated!

Strange. How do you even keep going if you missed something? Does that just end the test if you need a third repetition? It seems a little unfair. I am trying to find more info in the actual test for written and oral.

Listening to Mr. Wagner helped me a lot in passing the Oral Exam. Grasping everything he is saying here is very important to guide you As you prepare for the exam. As a result of following his instructions, i passed the oral exam making me as the only male certified Tagalog Interpreter by the Judicial council. Thanks Mr. Wagner

HILDA, its better you practice on your own.. everyone is at a different, level,, always ask your instructor, they know best, I used to always get a partner, and i Always ended -up helping =them, instead of helping myself...which it slowed me down
