I LIKE GREEN #realsubscriber. although I'm not much of a planner person, I actually really enjoyed this non-vlog/passion project hobby thing! also I love that making videos makes you happy because for what it's worth i really enjoy them and hope you don't stop :)
I love that you enjoyed it even tho you’re not a planner person, I find that to be the case watching other hobby videos I’m not a part of lmao Thanks so much for watching, it makes me happy to hear your enjoy my videos, it genuinely adds more joy in making them :)
I liked your video and i think it is a wonderful idea to draw insted of writing in your cousin! You are very talented and it will be a good practice in doing what you love ! Journaling can be what you like, what makes you happy!
I'm glad too to find a nice compromise of wanting to write in this wonderful planner by also continuing an important art practice. IT really can be whatever makes you happy, thank you!
Yeah, if taking 30 minutes out of your day is "taking up too much time" then journaling isnt for you lol i enjoy taking the time to sit and write but it was good seeing how else you could use the planner!
Exactly!! Journaling is such a nice activity, it’s a god damn shame I can’t partake in it often. I’m glad I was able to find a use for my hobonichi too, it’s such a joy to use it 💕
The planner system as an artist title caught my eye. In terms of documentation for projects I find the tasks get scattered as the project grows so I stopped by looking for possibly an all in one solution 😅
To recap, my planner system concluded in using a daily planner for drawing studies and then a smaller planner for personal health tracking, tasks, and journaling. Documenting projects could be integrated in a tracking system with monthly check-ins and goals/tasks to follow, which I write down in the journaling section every month. Maybe I'll do an update video on how I've been using my planner with a close focus on the art-side of my tasks :)
@@JGVIllustrations I'll definitely come back to watch that if you do make one. As an artist that came up with a lot of stories (I was a writer first) my projects can run away pretty quick 😂 so far I've been using Google Keep to store the majority of the project notes in and word docs for the larger writing. My journals are a bit everywhere still and the drawings are between digital and on loose leaves. So if you have a chance, saves us please 😂😆
God i miss hobonichi so much but it just really....not functioning for me based on what i need. So right now I'm using a Jibun Techo and it's been so useful. I still miss hobonichi and I'm torn up about getting a weeks or an A6 for no reason at all in 2025 😂
I get it! I've fully switched to Sterling Ink sterling-ink.com/ planners, I think you should check them out too---they offer a bunch more different sizes and colors, the 2025 planners look really nice and their layouts inside are minimalist so you can decorate/draw in them much more easily and it's the same tomoe river paper. I'm obsessed lol.
@@JGVIllustrations Oh yes I follow them too! I just feel like the shipping fee will be a tad extreme for me since it'll be from USA to Asia xD but I'll see if I can find it with local resellers, thank you!
I love seeing the way artists use the Hobonichi products. As someone who wants to draw/ sketch more, it's very inspiring.
You should give it a try!! Thank you for watching❤️

Thanks for sharing your planner. Really cool ideas for how i can track my own activity. Love seeing how different people organise themselves.
I love seeing how other people organize themselves too--this was purely the reason for why I’m sharing. Glad you found it helpful
