Dorota Osińska podczas przesłuchania w ciemno wykonała "Calling You" z repertuaru Jevetty Steele.
Słowa:
A desert road from Vegas to nowhere
Some place better than where you've been
A coffee machine that needs some fixing
In a little café just around the bend
I am calling you
I know you hear me
I am calling you
A hot dry wind blows right thru me
The baby's crying and I can't sleep
But we both know a change is coming
Coming closer sweet release
I am calling you
I know you hear me
I am calling you oh
I am calling you
I know you hear me
I am calling you oh
A desert road from Vegas to nowhere
Some place better than where you've been
A coffee machine that needs some fixing
In a little café just around the bend
A hot dry wind blows right thru me
The baby's crying and I can't sleep
And I can feel a change is coming
Coming closer sweet release
I am calling you
Can't you hear me?

i just replied to another comment absolutely!!! loved this one and her je t'aime!!
2023. It brought my brother to tears.
I nasza BLANKA BEJBA
I am an American, going on 70 years old. I have spent the last two weeks watching and listening to the tv show the voice, many countries have the show including Russia, Holland, China, and many others. The things I noticed besides the great talent was the facts that, when it comes to music, people almost everywhere are the same. It brings feelings from the heart. No politics, no greed, racism, just a lot of good feelings! I’m thinking that perhaps Heaven is something like this.
I have been watching the voice and I am a american and I going on to 19 years old and I have been watching this evry day
Normal ppl are awsome only politics and greedy fuc... are bad here..
Hi Steven - I also am an American & I am 63 years old. Isn't it great that we can find new music that can touch our souls. And, from the post of Kelsey O'Connor, music that also touches the soul of a 19 year old. Music, when it is great, is truly the universal language. Sometimes, when I connect to this music, it makes me feel a little bit younger.
I THINK YOU,R FULL OF TATERS
Larry Hunter lol why Larry why :b
January 1, 2020 still listening. This is one of the best audition ever in the history of the voice 👍
Edited:
Jan 1, 2021. Still, for me one of the best audition ever! BTW Happy new year!!!
agree!
me too (ja też)
This is the audition every Voice contestant wishes they could do.
I keep coming back to hear this, often!
I'm with you mate...
shes singing about a coffee machine.. why am I crying?
same here, so to the point!
Theme song “Baghdad Cafe”. Highly recommend this magical film!!!!!!!!!
Cathy Sears never seen the movie but this song is magic
@@cathysears6700 thank you, I didn't know about this movie till now and I think I will watch it after watching some scenes.
Ugh don’t even mention it
2024 still listening to her powerful and clean voice .
same! i keep coming back
Me
Same here I keep coming back to this one audition. I have never heard such a clean or pure voice like hers ...maybe ..just maybe Eva Cassidy from USA! But really this lady is exceptional!
YOU BEST BELIEVE IT!
Why on Earth this video has only 4 millions views whereas low artists like Justin bieber, Nicki minaj and others have videos with hundreds of millions of views. THAT is real music, the voice of this girl is like liquid gold. I have never cried so much while listening to someone singing. I'm speechless everytime, it's incredible. You have all my respect Dorota. Thank you for that musical experience !
One reason is the people you name have been elevated to star status by the media and the music they have released. Another may be that eastern Europeans are very good with Classical music but not so good with Western popular music.
Now it is up to Mr. Marek(if he chooses) to guide Dorota to the stardom she seeks. An English language album release and a media blitz in Europe and North America will propel Dorota to a high place in popular music.
Purple_dinosaur yes liquid gold well said ,,,,
Purple_dinosaur you are absolutely right. most people now a days dont know what is music.
Everett Cox Actually Mr. Marek chose Natalia Sikora over Dorota in the battle segment of the competition. Dorota was picked up by another judge & ended up finishing a close 2nd to Natalia in the Final.
So far no news of Dorota putting out an English language album. She does however have 2 Albums out in Europe. But, they aren't getting US distribution.
Theo Lamp thank you for the information. Dorota should have won. I listed to Natalia's first audition and it was terrible. I don't see how anyone turned their chair for that horrible screeching.
I always come back to this , best audition ever. So hauntingly beautiful.
I would bet that 40 of those 16 million views are mine, I absolutely love the way she sings this.
I tell you. The best audition so far, none is yet to beat it.
Watch Jennie Lena- Who's Loving You, comes terribly close
same here :)
Calling you ,was the best she sang ,In my opinion 🌌💛
Translation: Narrator: Coaches do not know Dorota's story. Only her voice can persuade them...
After her song.
Marika: Wow. I'm sorry. I'm taking a leave (from job).
Justyna: Honey, what's your name, tell us?
Dorotka, I will put my glasses on, because it shows I was crying. As "a professor" I can't be so emotional. But you know, you just sang so beautifully! Not only I love this movie and this song, but believe me (Tomson asks: Cafe Baghdad? Justyna correcting him: Baghdad Cafe), but believe me, only a negligible amount of people on earth can sing it so it will move other people. And you sang it absolutely so it did. You have such a talent! 3:00 min Justyna crying: I am truthfully moved. Really.
Marika: All are crying.
Tomson gives Justyna cleanex: Here you go.
Marek: When there is a freshness, I am defenseless like a child.
Dorota: Thank you.
Marek: When you sing I feel I've been given a prize, because for all my life I was living this way, so when I'm past 60 I have tears brought by emotion to my eyes. I didn't destroy it in me. And I didn't allow it to be destroyed in me. Remember. You need to protect it in you, what happened today.
3:40 min Marek: Remember about your great strength. Do not waste it.
3:56 min Patrycja: You know, I think that we are all longing sometimes to the end of our nerves. To the blood. We are longing for something or someone. When you sang, you stroke the chord with all the longings in my heart. I thank you for it very much. This was a beautiful moment, really.
4:24 min Baron:Dorotka, emotion can be expressed by tears or by goose-flesh all over the body. I was showing Tomson mine (goose-flesh) and he shown me his. It's rare for us to have them. Thank you for them.
4:42 min Tomson gives Dorota cleanex: I can't watch woman cry. I'm sorry.
4:54 min All coaches: Wait, wait.
Tomson: Now is the most important part for you. You need to stand there and select a coach.
Justyna:She is just coming to me. To Tomson: Don't be upset.
5:05 min: Justyna: You are so wonderful! But now, you need to choose one of us. You need to return to the stage and choose one of us.
Dorota: Can I choose from here?
Justyna: You can, of course. Only wait for me, so I can sit down, so you can see me clearly.
5:32 min Dorota: I don't know what to say. But I will ask for Marek.
Marek's twitt: I was destroyed. Nothing more to say. Respect. Great.
6:06 min Marika: Can I touch you? Are you real? Thank you so much.
6:11 min Justyna: She is all music. I don't know what her background is and what she is carrying inside. What is her story. But I can hear it (this story) in her voice. She is just purging human souls. This is great gift.
6:27 min Marek: Dorota killed me. For all our life we are hiding our wounds, our horrific splinters. We are hiding them even before ourselves. Forgetting about them. Pretending they are not there, because we need to carry on and function.
And here she comes, such a girl. And it's clear that all our tricks, maneuvers and lies and lies to ourselves - to hide inside us what is so painful - suddenly it all bursts. Like a Pandora's box. And we have wet eyes. Past 60. And this is my prize.
And the fact that she chose me, it's just a miracle.
+Mo Bo Thank you! You deserve a thousand thumbs up!!
+Mo Bo thank you for that!
Thank you.
fanandolla33 you're welcome
+fanandolla33 You're welcome 😀
I'll never look at a coffee machine that needs some fixing the same way ever again. Goosebumps every time I hear this. What a blessing. Cheers
Agree....
One of the most powerful falsetto's I have ever heard.
yes :)
Falsetos aré only done for boys womwn cant do them
alicia ruano I hope you're joking...
+Floris Klaver Emma hito a high note Its not called a falsetto uf u r a girl the Mens voices have diffferent structure and can put the voice on a Range that Its calles like that😌
+alicia ruano First sentence in the third paragraph on wikipedia:
"Both women and men are physically capable of phonating in the falsetto register".
If you don't believe in wikipedia, then ask any vocal coach.
Here's the translation to what the judges are saying:
JUSTYNA: Honey, what's your name? (Dorota) Dorotka.. let me just put on my glasses because you can tell that I've been crying and I just can't allow myself to show that much emotion. Nevertheless, you know what.. you sang so beautifully. Not only do I love this movie and this song...Baghdad Cafe, yes... believe me, there's only a couple people in this world that can sing this song in a way that can make people emotional. And that's exactly how you sang it. You just have SUCH a talent, I am honestly so moved. Really.
MAREK: When you sing, I am helpless like a child. When you sing, I feel like I won a prize. That my entire life I lived in a way so that after being 60 years old, I still could have tears in my eyes. That I haven't ruined that within me. And I haven't let myself ruin that for me. Remember to treasure and guard what happened today. Remember your tremendous strength. Don't lose it.
PATRYCJA: You know, I think that everyone in their lifetime longs for something or someone, deep down inside. And when you sang, you hit in every single longing in the heart right on the head. I thank you very much for that. That was a really beautiful moment.
TOMSON & BARON: Dorotka, you can show emotions with tears, you can also show them with the goosebumps that run through your whole body. I was showing him my goosebumps and he showed me his. This very rarely happens for us. Thank you so much for that. *hands Dorota a tissue* I cannot look at a woman crying. I'm sorry.
Then they go on to saying that she needs to choose one judge.
Dorota says: "I don't know what to say but I want to choose Mr. Marek."
At the end Justyna says "She is the definition of music. I don't know what she's experienced in her life or what her story is, but you can hear it in her voice. She cleanses peoples' souls. That's a huge gift."
MAREK: Dorota killed me. During our entire life we hide wounds, terrible experiences that we hide even from ourselves, cause we have to live, go forward. And then this girl comes along and all our tricks and lies that we've lied to ourselves, all hidden hurts, just burst open like a Pandora's box and we start having tears in our eyes. Thats a reward for a person in their sixties. And the fact that she chose me is a miracle!
:)
What Marek says is quite deep. Such a great and meaningful speech. Thakns for the translation. Would you mind to translate what the Justyna and Marek says at the end of the vid also? I would really appreciate it! :)
Ukimix Justyna: She is music herself. I don't know what she's experinced in her life, what her sory is, but you can hear it in her voice. She cleanses peoples' souls. That's a huge gift.
Marek: Dorota killed me. During our entire life we hide some wounds, terrible experiences that we hide even from ourselves, cause we have to live in any way, go straight. And then such a girl comes and all our tricks and lies, that we've lied to ourselves, all hidden hurts, just bursts away and we start having tears in our eyes.
Thats my reward for a person in the sixties.
The thing that she's chosen me is a wonder!
Justyna Jezierska I think Marek is like a philosopher or a poet... telling the true about Dorota. She's amazing! Great perfomance. Thanks a lot for sharing this translation!!!
Thank you for translating Magda, I don't understand a word of Polish language but I was curious about all those people that cry were saying
she has one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard.
Polish soul....

YES she really does
This was back in 2013. Almost 10 years later, we're still listening to her rendition of this song. That's how powerful this is. We've been forever moved.
🙌
its now 2023 and exactly 10 years later and WE”RE STILL LISTENING TO THIS
„Nie wiem co powiedzieć, ale poproszę o pana marka”
Wzruszyło mnie to. Ona po prostu wyszła, zaśpiewała i poprosiła. Taka piękna prostota i skromność.
Życzę jej wszystkiego dobrego w życiu.
Baradzo pieknie
A tak cicho i niej
Dałem Ci tysięcznego lajka
Uważam że to był najlepszy głos we wszystkich edycjach The Voice Of Poland 😘
Wwww super
Podzielam opinię
Mateusz Ziółko😊
Prawda
Bez przesady
I listen to this every few weeks to remind that I’m alive with a heart that beats and feels deeply.
I ja też...
Ja też i ciągle płacze
Nie tylko Ty moja przyjaciółko!
I am a mucisian/songwriter for more than 35 years (male) and have a pretty good ear for frequecncies and tone, yet I have never heard a human voice sustain notes so steadily. The human voice is an organic thing, unlike a mechanical instrument, and therefore subject to many minute flaws of fluctuation, warble or pitch in even the greatest and most controlled voices.
I have never heard a human vocal instrument as near perfect as Dorota's vocal chords. Truly an amazing gift. It would be a complete crime to not log many hours of recordings of her rich tone and perfectly controlled notes and scales.
There is virtually no fluctuation in her legato notes I would love to see her power notes on an oscilloscope. Her modulation must create a perfect tone with every wave the exact same height until she goes into her beautiful vibrato. That is what it sounds like to me, so I can imagine what the waveform must look like.
What a privilage to experience this performance….. I’m just sorry I couldn’t experience it live…. Goosebumps all over and that has never happened to me so consistantly as when Dorota sings. Dorota is a one in a billion.
Wolverine Smith Yes, both Goosebumps & Tears. At first I was so caught up in the emotion of this performance that I didn't actually realize the near perfection that you mention. I have learned that. To recognize it we only have to listen to some of her songs sung in a language we may not understand. "Ale Jestem" in Polish, or "Je t'aime" in French. You still know you are hearing something moving & unique. Can I say ethereal? I usually call her voice once in a generation. It would be a great loss if her voice would not be known to all those in the world who can appreciate her gift. However, I fear that with the nature of the music industry, that may not come to pass for a long time. I once saw a review of a Joni Mitchell album that said the pencil pushers at Geffen Records wouldn't know art if it was hanging on their own walls. The industry is based on promotion & airplay. They think that if you hear a song often enough, you will learn to like it. Sorry if I'm long winded. I'm from the US, but I'm 3/4 Irish descent & it's in my nature. Best wishes - Ted
Theo Lamp I've come here from time to time just to listen to this. Wish I could see her live, that would be such a privilege.Ethereal. Thank you, that describes it perfectly.
Wolverine Smith And yes, that she was able to sustain it was one of the first things I realized, and that, that itself is one of the most special things a singer can do. Just absolutely brilliant.
Wolverine Smith I've been playing music a little longer than you and have even represented some talent over the years; without question, I agree with everything you wrote. I have never heard anyone as technically perfect while at the same time evoking such emotion as this woman. I watch this video at least once a month to remind how incredible she really is.
indian singers can do that... go check sonu nigam out, their whole training is based on stability
TRANSLATION OF WHAT JUDGES HAVE TOLD.
[Justyna Steczkowska, a women in black dress]
- Darling, what's your name?
- [The Singer] Dorota.
- Dorota... first I am going to put my glasses on, because I cried and as a professor I can't let myself on such amount of emotions. You know, you have sang so beautiful. I love this movie, this song and believe me - only a few people on the world are able to sing it as touching as you did. And you did it exactely that way. You have a big talent! I am very touched. Really....
[Marek - a man in grey coat]
- When you sing I am as helpless as a child. After this song I felt that I just got an award. An award for living my whole life that way, that now, after 60 years I can have tears in my eyes. That I haven't destroyed that and I didn't let it to be destroyed. Remember to protect what happened today, and remember about your huge strength. Don't waste it.
[Patrycja Markowska - a blond women]
- You know... I think that sometimes everyone miss someone or something. While you were singing you hit all of the longings that I have in my heart and I am very thankful for it. Really, it was a beautiful moment.
[Tomson and Baron]
- Dorotko, emotions can be expressed by tears or shivers. During the song I was showing my shivers to Tomson and he was showing his shivers to me. It happens really rarely to us so thank you for it.
After those speeches Dorota evetually choose Marek.
I am sorry for mistakes, but I think that the context is right :)
+Jasmina Orlowska Thank you for posting the translation. I have watched this video SO many times and have wondered what they were saying.
+Jasmina Orlowska Thanks a lot for the translation, I was wondering what they said about Dorota, nevertheless I felt the emotion that Justyna expressed so well.
+Jasmina Orlowska thnx for the translation, I was curious to know what these judges said about this beautiful voice!!!
thank thank for translating. I really wanted to hear what Marek had said to her.
+Jasmina Orlowska *Dorota. :P
I don't understand Polish at all, but the emotion in the voice of the coaches makes it clear that what happened on stage was something very special and unique.
Nice. But she was singing in English. She has just strong Polish accent
@@finezyjnafantazja2495 He just wrote about a coach's comments rather than performance.
Justyna Steczkowska: Few people can sing this song in a way that it can make one sensitive
Marek Piekarczyk: I feel rewarded. I thank myself that I managed to maintain sensivity in myself so that in my 60s' I am still able to be moved by a perforkance like that. You have immense power in you. Do not waste it.
Tomson & Baron. I feel shivers. Hands in smth. I cannot look at woman tears.
Marek Piekarczyk: She moved all my hidden longings in my heart that all normally hid to make us look tough coz we're told we should move on. She evoked them all, made realise they were there and should be experienced.
@@finezyjnafantazja2495 thank you so much for the translations!!
@@finezyjnafantazja2495 - Thank you so much!
Jak ja tęsknię za takim voicem. To była najlepsza edycja, najlepsze głosy, najlepsi trenerzy. Od 7 lat oglądam to wykonanie i zawsze doprowadza do łez...
Dokładnie
I bitwa Dorotki z Natalią Sikorą
zgadzam sie
Mam to samo, ciagle wracam i zawsze łzy w oczach
I don't even knew why I cried. Damn she's good.
it's because she cleaned up your heart
that was me first time hearing it..i cried
You just answered your own question.
I cried, too.
I searched my soul... had me in tears... what a huge talent.
I just can't stop watching this vídeo.
me either I fell in love with her so many times
+William Knight Me too. Love it!
+William Knight I feel you. Someone get this chick a million dollars and a recording contract.
+William Knight very emotional , not many song made me cry .......love her voice very much
1:57 You can not always see a judge shedding tears listening to someone sing. ;')
Total 🔥🥲
No, Dorotka wymiotła tym występem. Ja zawsze mam ciary na plecach.
i niestety o dziewczynie w Polsce zapomniano, tak działają te skurwiałe programy
I've watched at least 100 times, I never get bored & still get amazed at how beautiful her voice is .... One of the most beautiful voices that will haunt you so chilling I love her so much ❤️
Welcome to "at least 100 times " club
I've definitely joined that club. It's rare for me to find someone I love this much on one of these shows. I wanna hear so much more of her
I also have watch this and all of her other performances, and would love to know what the judges are saying - please would someone caption this performance.
Greg Law
did you look down into the comments? I recall it has been translated like 100 times 2 weeks ago
Pocahotness V me too
Her breath control is out of this world.
If you haven't already, check out her performance on this show of "J t'aime." Talk about breath control ! Yes, indeed, out of this world.
You're absolutely right!
Jesus! This has got to be one of the cleanest, most enchantingly beautiful voices I have EVER heard! I am from Jamaica and really don't understand the comments but I understand music, and you cannot resist the draw of this girl's soul which she truly bares in her singing! BRAVO!
Check out her ''je t'aime'' this cover is totally out of this world. Grettings from Poland.
In Jamaica, we would call you PATRICIA! Thank you very much, and greetings from cool but sunny JAMAICA!!
You're welcome :D By the way I think right now I like Jamaican version of my name much more than Polish one because of you. Thanks ^-^
2024
I’m watching this and I love it
Nie ważne ile razy to oglądam , zawsze mam dreszcze. Cudowne !
Dodatkowo opinia Pana Marka to wg mnie najpiękniejsza opinia jaka padła we wszystkich edycjach.
hh.8.5
Głos to jedno a piosenki to drugie ... Mimo wszystko jest świetna
To prawda...
To swieta prawda.
Jest ktoś w 2024?
Jest
Tak...
Jest 🙂
Oczywiście ❤
Tak
I've listened to this about 15 times in a row, listened to some comparisons, and have found nothing that can compare. In fact the others pale in comparison in my opinion. Especially this audition version. What a voice. Sounds like something you'd want to hear in heaven. What talent! I'm very thankful tonight for the internet which allowed the possibility for me to hear something so angelic. This truly made my night.
+Kenneth Kosh III So agree with all your comments....Some singers reach the soul ...this girl is one of them. Keep coming back for more she`s so outstanding.
Absolutely.....Eva`s version of `YOU`VE CHANGED` ranks with the highest ...the one recorded at Blue`s Alley is so moving .Her death at such a young age was heartbreaking
I have listened to this every day for a week. It still causes chills.. absolutely hauntingly lovely
I did too... been following her all over youtube and google... love her voice
For a week?? Honey, there are people here who have been hanging here for months.
I had to stop for a while. It breaks my heart.
I still watch this weekly, its just remarkable. I wish there were more material to purchase... she is amazing!

2024 legenda tego programu nigdy nie umiera🥲❤️
There's another thing in this video, that stunned me a lot. I can see comments from Poland, Russia, USA, UK, Jamaica, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Korea, France, Mongolia... We speak different languages, we came here from different cultures. Nevertheless, there's something common in our souls - so we can feel the same magic, and share the same delight, when we're listening to Dorota's singing. Music, it seems, knows no borders.
Dorotko, zrobiłaś coś niesamowitego.
+Caissoft Cheers from USA my friend, music has always been something transcendent of tribalism and hatred.
Yes, yes, yes !
+Caissoft I love what you wrote. We can all feel the same magic in music no matter what language one speaks or their nationality. This woman can sing and I can't stop listening to her voice. Beautiful, voice....
cheers from Korea, speechless.. truly..
Cheers from India ! I am unable to stop listening to her and nor am I able to stop my tears from flowing ! She is incredible ! Elle est incroyable !
The desperation in her voice, the moments of fragility... Brought me back to my first real heartbreak, very captivating performance.
Lyrah - You’ve nailed exactly what makes her cover so compelling: vulnerability. It cracks the very fabric of the souls listening to her, because there’s such power, yet it feels brittle, like the swan song of a glass cannon. Have to give credit to the music composition as well - the chord changes affect the melody in such a way that makes the tune uncomfortable, but in a subtle enough manner as to not be repulsive to a common audience. Combine that with her voice and you get one of the most haunting and trenchant performances in the history of the show, in my opinion.
I’ve never heard of the song, nor the play she sang from, and I’m sure many of the listeners also haven’t. This song’s become eponymous with Darota.
well said.
This is what I felt when my sweetheart died. "Calling you" is so raw and heartbreaking. It makes you feel every possible emotion.
Never in my life have I heard a better singing performance. Why the hell isn't she as famous as she deserves to be?
FireAngel Londoner because people who are usually famous in Poland don't get the same recognition in the west. Only a few artists do.
FireAngel Londoner You have to listen to Sissaundra Lewis with her audition with the song Aint no way. I think that she is one of the best singers that i've ever heard in all my life. Her technique to sing is just awesome.
Because this is Poland and they try to make stars as in the USA like Rihanna not to promote this kind of singers..We have a lot very good singers and the menagers make them a lot less than as the time pass by.. The promotion in Poland sucks..
Just saying but Rihanna is from Barbados, not from the USA
Em Zet you are sucking
February 2022, I'm listening this for over 6 years and still amazed
Me either .still come to hear tis..wat a voice
Moi aussi, me to 😍
Amen.
What the...??? What was...what...WHAT? That's DEFINETELY a voice of the decade! I'm really baffled...don't even know how I found this video
Absolutely, I agree with you!!! I have NEVER EVER HEARD that kind of voice or tone, or feeling even, it's weird to me, a new discovery of emotion that my body can feel. Man!, that just blown my mind.
Listen to her new song TO NIE BANAL. This is the translation of that song:
It is quite difficult to translate because of its poetry... But i will try. It goes:
It was for you a 'bit on the side'
And for me, dear, it was a jump into abyss,
Enough for one small step
And this blind not-love
I was for you a miss X
And you were for me a God
So I passed the black Styx
I can't die more...
I still hear the voices: 'It was nice',
And you go away from my window,
Me and love, and this eternal-funny banality,
No, it's not banality,
This is a wound.
I still hear the voices: ' I will be calling'
But you don't call me, the silence is calling.
And this played, dumb drama,
No, it's monologue, I'm alone,
I am alone.
I was for you a pair of thighs
You were for me a pair of wings,
So when the sky beheaded me ice,
I fall, but got up, i'm going,
Only, my dear, where to go
Once the heart strings are broken?
This leaf under your feets
It's me, I know - I have no pride.
I still hear the voices: 'It was nice',
And you go away from my window,
Me and love, and this eternal-funny banality,
No, it's not banality,
This is a wound.
I still hear the voices: ' I will be calling'
But you don't call me, the silence is calling.
And this played, dumb drama,
No, it's monologue, I'm alone.
LOL! Same here! I clicked on it accidentally and I am so glad I did.

I think this is one of. If not the greatest blind audition i have heard on any voice show worldwide!!!
Its impossible. I don't believe a human can produce voice like this.
But she did, And won.
@@beats2476 No, unfortunately she didn't win. The woman that did the ear splitting Cry Baby Janis Joplin song won. I was pissed, this amazing lady should have won.

I Heard the original and her version is beather
Much worse ;)
The original by Jeveta Steele is better, sorry
Same here my friend
I have watched this video dozens of times. Her voice is incredible and the song choice and her treatment of it is phenomenal.
The emotion on her voice, no matter who you are If u didn't got caught up in this heavenly voice you may not have emotions at all, this is music, this is talent, this is ... This is a SINGER :') I hope someday she stars a music career because I want to hear more natural talent in the music industry that nowdays we don't have
I hear that. I wish it wasn't all about image. I wouldn't want to get caught up in all that. just want to project my voice.
+Je suis Le Garçon She does have a career. Search the web for her music.
I truly agree I started to cry. amazing voice and I am a music artist
The sad thing is, she hasn't been able to sound like since. None of the other songs she sung are even close. She can't recreate it. You would of never guest listening to her other songs first. Then listening to this without seeing her. That it was her singing this.
To me her albums are fabulouse. Maybe there's some difference in melody style. But I really can listen how superb singer she is in her other songs. She's unique.

I will wrote in English cause I see a lot of ppl from different countries. Her voice catches your heart and makes him racing like crazy, too many emotions. She is just perfect. if she was born not in Poland but in USA she would make an international career. This is sad but true.
I am in Texas and I adore this singer. Not only that but realize that she had to climb a steeper mounting than if she was in America to get where she is. However, I feel that when she is properly internationally discovered, she will do well. In America, not many generations back most of us came from countries all over the world. I recently heard an 9 year old (now 12), who is Bulgarian and I believe she will do well internationally as well. Music seems to have no bounds. No hostilities. No animosities. When hearing these beautiful singers, It pains me to think that there is any contempt anywhere. Thank you dear Dorota, and Krisia Todorova. Thank you THE VOICE and other talent programs for bringing these beautiful people to us. I am 81 years old and am proud that you can make me have tears.
The most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard, I listen to this yearly. Truly angelic ❤❤
To był chyba jedyny występ w historii The voice of Poland, gdzie w końcu można było słyszeć tylko występującego, a nie miliony komentarzy od jury i rodziny. Niesamowite wykonanie, które wywołuje u mnie ciarki do dziś, coś pięknego, krystalicznego!
this is epic, her voice makes me cry
Thanks you for 14 likes!
This woman captures the sadness of a whole planet and lets it loose in one momentous outpouring of grief and despair that leaves hardly an eye without tears. This is truly profound and timeless!
Well said.
Beautiful words...
I swear this girl is from another world.
Jest milon razy lepsza od oryginału. Tyle emocji i energii w głosie.
This woman has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. if she didn't win the people of Poland - who I love - are crazy!
she was second
I believe she lost to Natalia Sikora, who is also AMAZING. Listen to her version of "Crybaby" by Janis Joplin. I like Dorota Osinska more, but no shame in losing to Natalia Sikora. Those two IMO are the most talented vocalists I've ever seen from TV shows, let alone imagine what are the odds they were competing with each other same season, same show, same country? Crazy.
Kto tu obraża Polskę?
She should be FIRST.
Not everyone likes blunt voices like Sikora....
If you ever wondered what a Greek mythology sirens might have sounded like, and how it was possible to lure so many poor sailors. Well, you've got it all here... This is an insanely enchanting voice. I'm speechless as I wouldn't have even imagined any human could sing like that. Wow.. 2021 here and it's still so unbelievable and I'm literally all goosebumps!
Najlepszy występ w historii tego programu. ♥
For all the patient English speakers. Translation below. :) Thank me later.
2:24 jury1 (justyna): What's your name darling?
2:25 dorota
2:26 j1: I put my glasses on to hide my tears, as I can't take the liberty of showing my emotions as a coach here. You sang so beautifully! I admire that movie (Bagdad Cafe?) Yes... Just believe me, only a few can sing it to such an extend to uncover and touch emotions and you did that! Simply, you have such a talent! I'm deeply touched! Really!
3:08 jury2 (marek): When you're singing, I'm defenseless like a child. When you're singing, I feel I've just been rewarded. I'm rewarded for having lived all sixty years to have tears in my eyes. I haven't let anyone to destroy it. Just remember to take care of what has happened today. Remember of your great strength. Don't waste that!
3:52 jury3 (patrycja): Everybody misses sometimes, misses something or somebody. Your song hit all that I miss for. It was a wonderful moment.
4:21 jury4 (tomson'n'baron): We can show emotions with tears or thrills or goosebumps... I showed it to Tomson and he showed his. It's a rare occurrence. Thanks for that!
4:41 jury4: I can't watch when a woman cry!
4:52 all: Wait wait!! Wait! There is still the most important thing left. You have to choose.
4:57 jury1: Don't get excited! She is just coming to me! ... But now you have to choose one of us. Go back to the spotlight.
5:10 dorota: Can I do it here?
5.12 j1: Sure!
5:29 dorota: I dunno what to say but I go to Marek.
6:06 backstage lady: Can I touch you? Are you real?
6:12 j1: She's all music. I dunno her story, but it's inside her. She carries it in her voice. She purifies human souls. That's a great gift!
6:26 j2: Dorota has just killed me. All our lifes we hide some grudges, big traumas, cause we have to live, go forward, and than such a girl comes. And in that moment, all of our attempts to hide it just blow away like a Pandora's Box, and tears come to our eyes. And all of that after sixty! This is my reward! Why she chose me? It's a miracle.
Thank you.

TRANSLATION:
First judge:
-Honey, tell me your name please. [Dorota] Dorotka (it's a cute way of saying her name) I need to put my glasses on because everyone can see I cried my eyes out and I can't let myself show this many emotions as a lady [rough translation]. You know what...you sang this so beautifully. It's not even that I totally love this movie and this song [Baghdad caffee, right? Yes.] But believe me only small number of people in this world can sing this song in a way that moves people. And you managed to do that. You have such a talent. I'm truly touched...really.
[Background voices: -Everyone's crying...]
2nd judge: (His speech is very chaotic and I believe that he is the only one that knew what he was talking about.)
-Dorotka...when you sing, I'm helpless like a child. [Thank you] When you sing...I feel like I just won a prize. For the fact that throughout my whole life I managed to live the way I did, so that after 60 years I could have those tears in my eyes...that I didn't destroy it within myself. That I didn't let anyone destroy it. Remember, you have to protect what has happened today. Remember your huge power. Don't waste it.
3rd judge:
-You know I think that everyone in their lives misses something or someone to the marrow of their bones [polish people say 'to the ends of my nerves', which simply means very deeply]. And when you were singing...you touched every longing in my heart. Thank you very much for it. It was a very special moment.
4th judge(s)
-Dorotka...we can show emotions through tears or thought the goosebumps that we had all over our bodies. I showed mine to Thomson [the judge sitting next to him] and he showed me his. This happens very rarely, thank you so much for this.
[Whilst giving her the tissue: 'I cannot look at womens tears, I'm sorry.']
Everyone:
-Wait, wait, wait, you still have to chose the judge!
-Okay, calm down, she is only coming to see me! [hug] Oh my God, you're so amazing...but now you have to chose.
-Can I chose from here?
-Yes of course. But wait I have to sit down so you can see me!
Dorota: I really don't know what to say...but can I please have Mr Piekarczyk (Marek). [she literally said 'Can I have...']
After (judges)
-She IS music. I don't know what she went though or what story she is carrying on her shoulders. But you can hear it through her voice. She cleans your soul. She has a true gift.
-Dorota killed me. Throughout our lives we all carry wounds, painful splinters that we hide even from ourselves, because we have to live somehow, move forward. And this girl comes out...and proves that every one of our tricks and lies that we use to hide everything that brings us pain has suddenly bursted like Pandoras box and we have tears in our eyes. After 60 years of age. This is my prize. And the fact that she's chosen me is just a miracle.
Thank you for the translation, that was helpful.
Luckily, the emotions transported in the song and performance have no language barrier to cross, they're pure and wonderfully touching.
thanks

Well, you probably can't have her. But, isn't is amazing how a lovely woman can put a song & her emotions out there and transform herself into the most beautiful woman in the universe. Yea, I am with you, but I can't have her either. I cried also.
