I'm currently studying aircraft engineering and I'm hoping to see more of this video. 😊
It helps me to know the tools well

Mainly because we are not building an aircraft with wood or fabric materials.

Outstanding video. We are building a Zenith Cruzer and have just finished the tail and are waiting on the wings. We bought the tool set from Zenith and spent the first couple of weeks building the workbench and organizing the tools. You are dead on that getting organized is key to getting a good build cadence going. Freight Harbor has become my best friend as we are picking up new tools.

For a quiet air compressor, I bought an 8 gallon California Air Tools compressor. Extremely quiet at 60 decibels which is equal to normal conversation. 70 decibels is equal to a loud restaurant. Big difference. The compressor is sufficient for pulling rivets, but not for something requiring high volume like painting. Just my opinion.

As for compressor run cycles you can add tanks i use a 40 gallon 2 stage compressor in the shop(in a sound dampen enclosure with a 2 150 gallon tanks outside for air storage on average it cycles the compressor once every 1.5hrs instead of every 5 to 10 minutes this also helps in drying the air and keeping the air cleaner for the tool filter system and the painting filter/dryer system as well.

Great tips. With the exception of painting mine doesn’t run that much or for long.
