It is heartbreaking. The poor dog is rabid Cujo went from a loveable dog to a vicious monster. Thankfully the boy survived. In the novel he dies. It is terrifying. It is a great movie but after I saw it. I never petted a dog I did not know!
The siege scenes are incredible, Dee is phenomenal in this. If you’ve seen interviews with Danny Pintauro, he wasn’t traumatised by the dog action at all, more fascinated it seems. The seizure scene is so authentic cos Danny revealed he had one when he was younger so knew exactly what to do. I’d like to have seen some aftermath scenes as per the novel cos it’s all left a bit open ended at the freeze frame.
Omg this movie. Can't think about this movie without remembering watching it during a sleepover... In a house with 4 huge dogs... Maybe not the best movie idea for that night? lol (The dogs were totally sweet and cuddly though)
'Cujo' is one of the best adaptations of a Stephen King novel that NEVER gets mentioned or talked about which is criminal.

I never seen cujo but i do have it on my list but "mens best friend" is a good movie too
