A successful ejection is a consequence of a series of events that needs to be accomplished by the pilot, including aircraft emergency handling ejection decision, and final preparation for ejection. The Ejection Seat Simulator (ESS) is a multifunctional simulation platform that enables a pilot to experience and train through the entire sequence of events from an aircraft emergency to seat ejection.
