I opted to take the cogwheel train, which was a unique experience in itself. The journey takes about 75 minutes, but the stunning views along the way make it worth every minute. Yes, from Munich to Garmish, you need Train and then from Garmisch either bus or Cogwheel Zugspitzbahn can take you to the lake. We have a vlog for Eibsee and a blog as well and just uploaded the Shorts from yesterday.
