  • Zugspitze in Winter: Skiing on Top of Germany 🇩🇪❄️❤️
    ..
If you're looking for a memorable day trip from Munich, a visit to Zugspitze should definitely be on your list. Zugspitze, standing tall at 2,962 meters, is the highest mountain in Germany and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Bavarian Alps. I recently took a trip to Zugspitze and was blown away by the beauty of the place. In this travel Vlog, I'll share my experience and tips for visiting Zugspitze from Munich.
    ..
The easiest and most affordable way to reach Zugspitze from Munich is by using the Bayern Ticket.
    ..
I opted to take the cogwheel train, which was a unique experience in itself. The journey takes about 75 minutes, but the stunning views along the way make it worth every minute. Once you reach the Zugspitze Glacier, you can take the cable car to the summit. The cable car ride is a thrill in itself, offering panoramic views of the Alps.
    ..
At the summit of Zugspitze, there are plenty of facilities to keep you comfortable. There are cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat or warm up with a hot drink. The panoramic viewing platform offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

I’m booked there for the end of April for 10 days I can’t wait. Do I have to take a train and a bus to get to the hotel?

Yes, from Munich to Garmish, you need Train and then from Garmisch either bus or Cogwheel Zugspitzbahn can take you to the lake. We have a vlog for Eibsee and a blog as well and just uploaded the Shorts from yesterday.
