Oh thank you! Yes, the stems, as you saw, tripped me up too. That was one of my first videos so I can tell you that they definitely get easier the more you paint 👍🥰

An example is when you said the paint stays on top of cellulose paper, makes it easier to lift (both a good thing and also something to be cautious with when layering.) For all the tutorials I've watched (a bazillion), it's the first time I've heard this and it makes so much sense. Again, glad I found you and thank you very much!

I was trying watercolors some time back and was frustrated with how I do get what I wanted. But this tutorial inspired me to give it one more chance before I give up completely. I'm surprised how that came out so beautifully. Thanks you so much for this detailed tutorial❤️
