You NEED headphones for Pink Floyd...trust me on that. You don't simply listen to Pink Floyd...you EXPERIENCE them as you have just found out. We all get emotional when hearing Pink Floyd...that's what makes them so unique...they connect with your soul.
Headphones are a MUST when listening to Pink Floyd music, absolutely a must! They are known for,... among other things,... as sonic genius, you will hear all kinds of sounds, voices, in the background of their music, but you need headphones for the full elevating experience. And make no mistake about it, they ARE an Experience all their own. band, PInk Floyd is/was a British Rock band formed in London in 1965, they are considered by most, as one of the top 3 Rock bands of all time! They have consistently sold out 90,000 + seat venues all over the world for over 4 decades, and they have sold over 300 million albums worldwide! I'm 66 years old and have been a PF fan since the release of their epic "Dark Side of the Moon" album in 1973, I've seen them live twice! There's no band out there like Pink Floyd!
Pink Floyd plays music for the ages that can be enjoyed by generations of people. Like a legacy being passed from Father to Son, experiencing Pink Floyd's music for the first time is a right of passage. Thanks for listening to this fantastic song, and most of all for respecting the music.
I was a senior in high school when this song hit the radio and yeah transfixed was my reaction the end solo still stands as one the best in history 🤘✌️💕
I saw a Nightwish reaction you did before I saw this one. Another fave of mine! Did you know there is a connection? Nightwish did the best tribute (not just a cover!) to Pink Floyd with "High Hopes". Maybe look at both live versions? The live version of Comfortably Numb from "Pulse" is a must see! So is the film The Wall - this song is included on the sound track. Solo!? Only one of the best if not THE best ever! David Gilmour has the most emotionally eloquent guitar ever and Emppu of Nightwish, in the aforementioned tribute, does a truly excellent job too! Marko's vocals..... you tell me!? Take it as a request, a challenge or a dare! Just do it! ;)
Nice reaction. Great to see you really getting into Floyd and appreciating it. Others comments are so true, headphones make a huge difference. It's also good to see that you didn't pause too much - which brings me to another point, whatever you do, never, never pause during a Pink Floyd guitar solo (David Gilmour is the lead guitarist). I've seen other reactors being slaughtered for pausing during a solo. Just a head's up. Keep delving into Floyd, you won't regret it. The PULSE live version of Comfortably Numb is awesome/longer and the light show is amazing.
I was actually one of those who got slaughtered for pausing in the first reaction i did of them lool. Landy thank you for the kind words and all the information. I appreciate it.
Hi Ace from Spain My English is very limited, asi que seguire en español y espero que lo traduzcas. En cuanto te he visto mover las cejas, me he suscrito inmediatamente. Como muy bien ya te están sugeriendo, deberías ver esta canción en concierto (PULSE 1994). Porque, sabes cuando acaba la versión de estudio que te deja con las ganas, pues ahí empieza lo bueno... Además me gustaría recomendarte de Pink Floyd: - Shine on you crazy diamond - On the turning away - Time - High hopes - Learning to fly - What do you want from me Dire Straits - Brothers in arms Scorpions - Still loving you Boston - More than a feeling Qué las disfrutes
if you choose to listen to the pulse live version of this, from the 90s ;), which im sure many will suggest you do, then headphones are a must, which im sure many will also say.. :D .... good reaction .. thanks ...
