Update after you testing all of the things you shown your video my cruise control now works I guess it sat for a year and things froze up and once the actuator was tested it start working again thank you very much awesome video
What a great video! Understanding the components and how to test helped me to find the problem with my cruise control in my newly acquired Honda C-rv and get it working. I was thinking it was one of the switches but after verifying they worked, I went under the hood to check the cruise unit and found the plug wasn't all the way connected. Simple fix. Video provided knowledge and confidence to check it out. Thanks so much
This was the best tutorial from start to finish I have ever seen. Extremely easy to follow. The instructional way it was given helps to understand how to approach other similar issues. Thanks
Absolutely amazing video, thanks man, I learned a Lot, My car is not a Honda, but it has the same principle for the Cruise control, I Will definitively try this.
You could also unscrew the circuit board and confirm that the soldered joints aren't disconnected or the "set" switch jumper terminal is decent and repair your switch for free. Thanks for creating this video, it helped me process my vacuum actuated CC module.
Great explanation video, as always. I had an issue with my Dodge Charger cruise control not working when initialized, and after an OBD scan, it turned out to be one of the speed control sensors on the passenger side front being faulty. (Apparently there's a speed sensor on each of the 4 wheels on a Dodge Charger). Replaced the faulty speed sensor, and my cruise control works as it should. (Making this comment just in case another viewer is having an issue with their own cruise control on a Dodge Charger).
Thank you so much for this video! I have a 1999 Acura integra and I have performed all of these tests and found that all of my components, set switch, main switch and under hood cruise control actuator are in good working order. I have also disconnected my clutch cruise control switch and jumpered it to rule out the switch and I have checked the fuse and rule it out. Where do I go next to determine why my cruise Control doesn’t work??
Thanks so much for this video! My S2K has the same issue. Any luck on finding the resume/set replacement part? I've done quite a bit of research and can't seem to find one for my 02. Thanks!
Just bought a good used 03 Honda accord but my cruise isn't working. The switch on the wheel engages but it simply does not work. Im thinking it has to be either a fuse or the actuator. What do you think, also does the actuator have a fuse?
I tested everything you show on your video and my cruise controls still doesn’t work all the lights come on in the dash but it wants the downshift and act weird but the actuator test is good and everything tested good do you have any ideas
My 08 jeep wranglers cruise control will set and maintain speed but for only 20 to 30 seconds before it kicks off, you can hit the resume button and it will go back to the speed that it was previously set at but again for only 30 seconds or so any ideas?

Terrific video. You may have the knowledge, but sometimes it's tough conveying that. No problem here. Well done!
