Great informative and such neat application plus sectioning makes sense . Lovely freehand balayage technique. Finally a straight to the point technical video. Thank you for sharing
Thank you Jackie for taking your time sharing your knowledge Enjoyed your introduction, as well. Your salon is not to far from me (Tacoma). After 7 years of college, I (also) am still doing hair...it's a passion.

is the black box perforated plastic from SalonCentric. I can't remember the name. I actually don't really care for it all that much. I prefer the yellow box one that is a bit clingy-er.
why do you say drab? I toned her lavender so it wasn't going to be bright blonde. It is an option to gloss with something neutral and leave the hair blonde. I was just not going for that look
I glossed her down to a lavender which gives it a softer look. You could do the same thing and keep her brighter blonde. That is part of the personalization you can do for each client. I was focused on the technique

A bit too drab looking, but very nice technique for applying!

Is developer 6vol enough for going darker 1 or 2 levels max? Using L’oreal dialight
usually I use 6 vol for tonal control and 9vol for darker deposit. But you can use 6 vol however it will be slower :) Hope this helps!
