- Runway unveiled Gen-3 video AI hot on the heels of Luma and Sora. Runway gave me early access to Gen-3 Alpha and it's unbelievably powerful. I'm currently able to generate 5 or 10 second clips with a text prompt, but in the future I'll also be able to try out image to video AI. I've had a day to generate a ton of AI video examples. Let's go through all of my tests.

as a producer and artist i've been using gen3 for real world artistic purposes. My most recent single's music video was created with gen3 and for the first time ever it's actually worth it. It cost me about $30 to make it. I'll be making more music videos with it if anyone wants to follow along

Speaking of Helldivers, I feel like the first 3rd person gameplay looks like Helldivers 2 slightly.
Suggesting the purple buffalo to be put into video ai was one of the best things I've ever done.
Looked like the Milka cow (European chocolate brand that used purple/blue cows excessively in TV advertising)

Oh yeah, even though there's still some flaws. The quality from Runway 3 is definitely much better compared to Luma and this is during in alpha stage too. Which I can imagine the final version will be a lot better.

Love how the longer you watch this video, the more weird and fever dream like the ai gets.
you should do a prompt where they pass an object to each other. it'd be interesting to see if ai can handle transfering the same object to another person

@@petercarrick2678 it's funny because I first heard of Luma from a news article that compared it to Sora. Of course they had to do it for clickbait and SEO reasons but Luma is so comically worse than the Sora examples that OpenAI published.

You should try some scary horror scenes lol with flashlight at night walking through abandoned stores or park woah sick scary shadows things showing up showcases ai to full potential and using what it's good at lol dang we only going up from here runway 3 awsome
this is kinda basically the old video ai combined with the new suno ai
AI video quality is amazing at this point, but what's not so amazing is the AI's ability to generate the shot we asked for. Making an actual AI movie like I just did gets very expensive when two thirds of your generations are unusable. I used Luma AI, not Runway, but I'm sure the experience would be similar.

It's going to take time for artificial intelligence to evolve into something that could master the system of being more like the actual thing. that you see with actual CG animation from media.

The latest 2 videos on my channel were made entirely with Gen 3, I'm trying hard to push it to do some interesting stuff. Please check it out! Currently makes something usable about every third attempt. But works out REALLY expensive right now
