Live video and the editing afterward is always disappointing. Two towering figures on that stage in Lou Reed and Robert Quine and we get to see a keyboardist and the back of a drummer. Lou you are sadly missed and Mr. Quine never forgotten.

Shame this was Reed's last tour with Robert Quine on guitar. He was turned down low in the mix. I'm not too sure how well Peter Wood on keyboards and accordion fits into this tour promoting Reed's New Sensations album.

You should see the whole live set. Lou is in its best mood and perfectly accompanied. I agree that the studio version is more accomplished though. As Doug Yule would say, "Lou simply doesn't have a durable voice". But listen to the bass.
