Yeah. Get a bunch of fomer racers whose wages are now dependent on selling advertising and have them appraise a machine's suitability for the "average" road rider. Not the best model, if you ask me.
@@davidbrayshaw3529 Wait... So they abandoned their standard practice of collecting input from actual owners? That in itself makes them even less credible than they were before! I agree, horrible indeed.
Perfection in a motorcycle is a matter of opinion. Mine may differ from yours greatly. If you call something perfect you need to narrow your definition of perfection.
Funny how the thumbnail for this video shows a truly beautiful motorcycle, and then it segues into this crap. None of the bikes presented here are perfect by any sense of the word. Channel blocked.
I love the Triumph Street Twin, but I refuse to buy any motorcycle with cast wheels. Just think how nice it would look with spoked wheels; it would look like a real motorcycle then. The MT 7 is a great idea but the only reason that it turns heads is because it looks like a spaceship, not a motorcycle. The Vulcan looks like it is too complicated with that huge engine and no spaces to see through the frame, just another spaceship and, again, cast wheels. The Super Meteor although it looks like a real motorcycle is just too heavy for just being a 650 and again, cast wheels. The Gold Wing is just a couch with wheels. Nothing about it looks like a real motorcycle. The cast wheels do make sense on the Gold Wing because they are less maintenance, and it doesn't look like a motorcycle anyway. The SV 650 sort of looks like a motorcycle but the cast wheels, again say otherwise and then there is that MASSIVE spaceship muffler. So, the only bike that I did not list was the Honda Rebel 500. It does seem like the perfect motorcycle and although it does have cast wheels, it doesn't look retro, and therefore the wheels aren't as objectionable. Why can't manufacturers make motorcycles that LOOK like motorcycles? Harley was close with the Sportster but then, even they replaced it with that ugly as sin new spaceship. To me, the bike currently made that looks like a real motorcycle, is also retro looking and in my opinion beautiful, is the new BSA 650. That bike is a looker!
Own a triumph thruxton spokes super fun and gets the looks. Own a Roadking toured on it fun. And have a Goldwing GL1800 its a bike for accomplished motorcyclist hauls the Mail and handles the twisties. 😅 two wheels are fun 😅
I do not consider consumer reports to be an authority on motorcycles..

I can only say that these "almost perfect" bikes have idiotically wide tires!
Wait a minute, these are some of the same bikes that appeared on another bs video about bikes that are not selling!

there is only 2 almost perfect bikes in this video. The Triumph and Royal Enfield.

Nice video! Appalling how in the 21st century you're still talking gallons and miles though!😂
