Pretty well over the frilled up corporate caravan parks and always head to the older style, shire run or private, family owned places. I have no use for a bouncy castle or kid's entertainment so am very happy to leave these places to the travelling families. It's not all about the savings. It really is my preference to go where I can get a decent shower, some quiet privacy and a feeling of security. In WA, they're some of the few places where you can still have a (contained) fire to sit around and enjoy a drink once the wet season finishes. Great advice for those who aren't just about ticking the usual boxes. Thanks.
@@Ranger670 yes, that's an excellent point! We would rather go somewhere peaceful, than a caravan park. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your comment 👍
@@rustysworldofentertainment850 this is aimed at self-contained, so you would need your own toilet. Having said that, we've stayed at a couple of farms that provide them. I couldn't tell you how many around the country do offer that though (both we've stayed at were in WA).

Thanks for this. I guess this rules out the dunny-less camper trailer? Or are there some stays where that won't be an issue?

@@OurOutbackJourney Cheers. It's a bloody big state, there are plenty of bushes 😄
Are you finding different farm stays that are not on hipcamp or wikicamps
Yes 👍
@OurOutbackJourney we have a dog that is kept on lead so far with your stays do you think that would be an issue ?
@@MarkDartwe've stayed in around a dozen places and all have been dog friendly 👍
