I thought Castagna or Prestia or Pickett should have got it at first, but now watching this I realise Dusty deserves it. You get used to him being the best you don't realise it.
Castagna could've got it if he kicked 4 or 5 goals instead of 5 points after he did all the hard work. Electrifying player, unfortunately his best mate Dan Butler can't get into the team at the moment so he missed out on this premiership. Butler might have to leave like Miles and Lloyd and probably Ellis. Good call about Dusty being underrated in a way because his standards and impact are so high that we get used to it.

Dustin Martin of the Richmond football club wins his second Norm Smith medal which puts him among the greatest players to ever play. ‘Dusty’ is a midfielder ruck rover who won the Brownlow medal in 2017 and has officially topped Richmond’s all time Brownlow count after his efforts this season.

I enjoyed watching the 2019 grand final as GWS played in their first grand final against the Richmond football club who played in their first exactly 100 years ago.
100,000 people attended the 2019 grand final and saw the Melbourne Cricket Ground ‘MCG’ reach its capacity.
The game is held in Victoria at the ‘MCG’ every season as the max capacity allows for more people to attend the game, in this case to watch home side Richmond football club defeat a much smaller club the GWS giants who come from western Sydney.
The game is played at 2pm every Saturday and tickets are reserved in advance and sell out almost instantly, especially with a team like Richmond.
Richmond ‘tigers’ ultimately came out as the victors, of the 2019 AFL grand final and will start the 2020 season as favourites to win the premiership flag again, which will make it 3 out of the last 4 seasons, which is a a very prestigious honour in any sport.
The GWS giants will also start next season as one of the favourites after retaining all of the players in the past few seasons which means they can’t be counted out for next season either.
The other favourite being the Collingwood football club, who are also another side from Melbourne and one goal short of defeating GWS in the preliminaries will also be looking to win the AFL premiership next season after falling short several years in a row now.
Collingwood are one premiership of tying both Carlton and Essendon for the most premierships out of all the AFL teams and for a club entrenched in the history and culture of the game this will be very important to the entire fan base.

mate the media were saying the rule changes were going to affect us most. We used 2 spares before every bounce from 2017 to nullify opposition scoring to great affect. Ironicially the team that most benefited was Geelong.

jjj bigrat so are we going to rule out the fact Richmond lost 3 elimination finals in 2013, 2014 and 2015? We knew we had a good team but then we just got a whole lot better in 2017. Rioli, Castagna, Butler (who left), Grimes, Graham and now Pickett, Lynch, all our defenders etc.
