If it was really bad and squibbed a lot, I could see people avoiding it. Before I got mine, my friends were concerned that the barrel length would lead to a lot of darts getting stuck in the Blaster.
I would’ve paid an extra $20 if they had included the chrono barrel/ammo counter instead of the faux ammo counter. They have the tech for it, why not use it?
For those who are interested, the game add-on for Halo: Infinite is an optional skin for the in-game Assault Rifle that looks like the livery on this Nerf toy. Personally, I think that’s pretty cool, and probably worth ~$10 on its own.
The mag release is there because that's where it is in-game. The reason its awkward is because the Nerf gun's magazine sticks out in a way the "actual" gun's magazine doesnt. It should slide in further and conform to the form of the gun, which would make it easier to use the mag release.

The fact that the company literally it's word "nerf" as a name(, which the word nerf = just making something worse than before) makes it so much more ironic.
Auto mechanism is nice and it looks sleek, but I still have to give props to BoomCo guns from some years back and how fantastic the assaulter worked with the air pump mechanism and natural spray pattern. Plus the plastic-bodied darts shot eons better than nerfs ever would.
I like how the waffle head starts are adventure force darts. But I buy them bc they are like 10 bucks for 200 and they work better than normal elite darts
I got those waffle head darts at the same price but they are only 50 darts, but still cheaper and includes more than Accustrike darts, granted in my area both ammo types are at the same price but Accustrike darts only come in 30 dart packs not 50
I finally got one of these. It’s great. The add-on is pretty cool too. It gives you a skin for the assault rifle in game that resembles the nerf blaster’s deco and a charm of a nerf dart for your guns.
it is amazing that nerf came out with this. it gives content creators so much opportunities to modify it with cosmetics to create a low budget and good looking prop gun for content creation!
