Virtual voice is an absolute joke and I don’t understand why it’s even out there. I can’t stand it either! Half the words it doesn’t even get correct.

Great interview! I love audiobooks and love to learn more about the narrators. One of my favorites is Jacob Morgan and Aiden Snow.
Both of those guys are great and I know we’ve talked with Jacob about being on the channel at some point, we just need to get that all nailed down. We’ve only met him once where we have spent more time around Tor and Teddy so it was easier to get them on board.

After I edited the video and had it uploaded to RUclips, I went back and watched it. I always go back and watch it to make sure that there’s no glitches. I had to listen to it on max speed while re-watching because I’m so used to listening to Teddy at a very fast pace so he didn’t sound right to me. I mean he did because we’ve seen him in person and talked with him, but I needed him faster. I talked to Tor all the time on Insta and he typically sends over voice memos, so I’m used to his normal every day pace, but not Teddy.😂
Great and fun interview! You had on two of the best. There is such a different between a narrator and a voice actor. The book I just finished was such a perfect example of that. Jason Clarke was the mmc and as always, perfection. But the mfc was very robotic, even during the very spicy (QB Tyler) scenes it was like she was reading the phone book. Such a glaring different between the two.
Also I have never heard anyone as about those spicy scenes. When was the first time? After so many books is it just like any other part of the story or do they respond to reading the words the way we do while listening? I'm guessing since no one asks that it's considered rude. Although in all the interviews I've seen with Teddy, that he would talk easily about it. More casual and funny about the question. Because come on, there has got to be some really funny stories about the spicy stuff.🤷♀️
You’re right there is a difference between a narrator and a voice actor for sure! We don’t tend to ask about the spicy scenes just because the narrators that we have talked to and spent time with our very relaxed about the whole thing and very sex positive and it’s just not something that tends to come up. They’ve been doing it for so long. It doesn’t even bother them so we don’t typically ask. When we have discussed it with them, it’s been off camera at events but typically it’s just not something that’s discussed. I think they’re just so used to it. It’s no big deal anymore.
Sometimes I just want to listen to a narrator so I just look for books narrated by them. My favortie book is twisted pride so TorThom is one of them. And I am going down a Jacob Morgan rabbit hole. And of course Teddy is an out listen.
Yup, Tor is Remo… We totally just sat down and hung out with Remo and Nino… my life is complete, I’ve peaked, doesn’t get any better than that😂😂😂
