The singer misses a few subtle sounds from Lonesome Dave but I can accept this since Rodger Earl , the last surviver, is still on the road playing his great music. i have seen then many times and met Rodger and the band more than once. They really rock
I'd go to see Scott Holt- who played with Buddy Guy for years -with his own band. Foghat is lucky to have him. Bands that change their sound last longer. Check out Earl and the Agitators...I believe this is what led to Scott joining up with Foghat.
Sounds pretty good to me and I have been a Foghat fan since the seventies. No long hair takes something away from it though. Any of the originals in the band now?
This reincarnation of the last 15 years or so has neither the groove, the funk, or the flavor.
