Been binging a ton of your vids and others on their Integras and it makes me excited to get my own. Gonna get my first car here in the next couple of months and I’m looking for an LS. (GSR would be ideal but they’re all overpriced in my area)
OMGTeggy I’ve always just loved the way they look and it’s a Honda so it’s reliable enough haha. Tbh tho I’m not too much of a car guy, really wanna be one tho just because I’ve always been fascinated by them even when I was a kid. Hope I can make this first car something really special over the next few years.
A quality manifold will not crack and those cast manifolds are limited to how good they flow.. but for a set up like this mid 300s then this works perfectly..
I have to have at least two 12's in my trunk. High quality sound is a must in my cars. I have a whole extra system waiting for a car. Or if my system gets stolen again. Someone stole every single component of my last system except my amp power wire and used my tools to remove it all.
Hey man, my 99 LS has 300k and is running strong but I would like to engine swap it. Would you recommend the GSR swap as my best option? It’s my daily driver.
Depends where you live. GSR motors are very expensive, a b20 high comp or just normal b20 wouldn’t be a bad option probably about 4-5 times cheaper then a GSR
Love the car bro. I have to ask though are you having any issues running that turbo? Because other then the bottom end it seems like its a stock engine. What psi do you run? And I know you said you used a map sensor? But did you use the stock ecu? I want to turbo my 99 so bad but I think I'll need ARP head studs bigger injectors and fuel pump. And with it being a stock engine Im scared it may blow so I would run like 5 psi at the max lol also its a non v-tec engine don't know how much difference that would make. Thanks in advance. Love the build! Edit: also is that stock suspension? Because that looks great!
Thanks bro! No issues yet you really don’t have to upgrade much I have forged pistons and rods so that helps hold the boost good in the bottom end. I run 14psi and have had zero issues with the engine. You’ll definitely need new injectors, fuel pump, and the ecu it just depends all tuners tune on obd1 ecus so if yours is obd1 you’ll be good. It’s all stock except forged pistons, rods, super tech valve springs, and aro head studs. If I where you though since you don’t have vtec you’ll definitely want to put a meater cam in there. I know a guy on Instagram he has a stock gsr and pushes 340hp. You could definitely run more then 5 pounds of boost you’d barely feel that I’d go around 9psi just do some more research, if you need any help hit me up on Instagram
If you want to turbo any honda motor i sugest building the block and sleeving it that way if anything bad happens youll be able to save the motor. You dont really need a built head unless your gonna make alot of power. But its all in the tune so make sure you get a good tune and talk to a reputable tuner about the best build for your needs
I’m gonna guess it’s an s2k, you could switch it up and get a Nissan. I drive a manual g37 sedans and it’s pretty quick only bad thing is gas and insurance
@@kys_garage898 maaco is ok, my paint is chipping away and i paid 1k. its warrantied but i really dont want to go through those clowns again. if i could do it again i would of plasti dipped my car. ill probably plasti dip my car when my paint turns to shit within 2 years. good luck. u got a nice teg.
@@glocknueve i got the paint job about 6 months ago, it is warrantied but fuck em. i think im just gonna plasti dip it yellow when this paint turns to shit or ill look into black wraps.
Bro, there's heaps left to do on this car. You could start by redoing half the mods you've already done and do them properly and make it into a nice car. Half of what you have is done badly.
Examples? I agree there’s some stuff to redo but give me examples your not helping by just saying that. I’d say definitely a paint job and clean up the engine bay there nothing I really did wrong though it works right just need to clean things up a bit. What do you expect it’s a budget build...
@@kys_garage898 don't get me wrong i do like the car, i just think you could finish it off Way better. Fix and mount your radiator and fans better, hide and wire that ecu in properly, redo your exhaust Manifold and intercooler setup and maybe make some more power. There's more but don't leave it how it is keep working on her 😉
@@kys_garage898 Bro here's some constructive stuff for you to help with the build. 1 ecu: Hondata s300 v3 with p72 ecu, get rid of that thing you have on your passenger floor. 2: get rid of that horrible cast Manifold and go for a top mount ramhorn with a better dump pipe setup. 3: fix your intercooler 4: get rid of that turbo, cx racing is junk.
Agree CX racing is garbage but I’m probably going to run it till I dtRt having problems with it. I do have a lot i can do it’ll just come with time if I decide to keep upgrading components thanks for the advice 👍🏻
@@kys_garage898 yeah no worries, just keep an eye on that turbo because if You've had trouble working out the oil restrictor you could be blowing half your oil out of the engine..which you don't want seeing as you've already built a forged block setup. There's better alternatives that aren't too expensive.
To make your ecu with the harness adapter fit in the kick panel you’ll have to pull out the black plastic piece that covers the stock harness.
Alright thanks for the help I’ll definitely do that!
Teggy looking great. DND steering wheel are great price and good quality.
Thanks man!!! And I’ll definitely check them out!

There such badass little cars!!! I love them! Yeah stick with an LS, gsr’s are so over priced in my opinion can’t find one for under 7k where I live

Thanks bro!! I know, I’ll get there some day
@@kys_garage898 Bro do more 📹 on youtube/ im on FaceBook look for the 2003 CTS
smart choice with the cast iron turbo manifold instead of stainless steel, stainless steel looks better but prone to cracking caused by heat.
Yep! It looks ugly but much Berger because of the cracking like yo said
A quality manifold will not crack and those cast manifolds are limited to how good they flow.. but for a set up like this mid 300s then this works perfectly..
Look at getting a DND performance steering wheel, they would look sick in the teggy
Agree DND is the wheel are good quality and a great price
Yeah those look sick isn’t that the one you bought?
or get a real steering wheel so you dont die. but ya know just a thought.
I also had a turbo from cx racing that was not good at all. Next time i go turbo im gonna pony up 🤑
Buy a exhaust wrap from keeping your fan from melting
That’s actually smart I’ll look into that
thats the first thing i thought of when he said the fan melts
actually rotate the turbo 180 degrees and you would prevent a whole lot more from melting...
Hey man be sure to bring this to cars and coffee in Ventura on the 30th!
What gauge did you gap your piston rings? 1st 2nd and oil ring?

"yea bro its a tt"
"twin turbo?"
"turbo teggy"
Would you recommend the Integra for someone who wants to learn manual?
Yes, very easy car to learn and if you burn out the clutch pretty easy to replace by yourself 👍🏻
I just bought my LS for $700 with no issues other than a dirty interior and worn out paint

Do it that’d be sick!
WHERED YOU GET THE BLACK AND WHITE HOOD
Do you paint it yourself or do you get it sprayed?
Painted it myself with the dyc spray system
look into pci side skirts, they look awesome
I want those so bad!
Do you have a full list of the mods you did?

Yeah possibly and I was looking at a 350 or 370 but I like the g’s too
recommended series for an integra???
What's up man new to this jdm stuff but I got a 91 Integra and I would like to engine swap is automatic what would u reccomend ?
You can get a b18c1 or a b20 depending where you live you can even swap a k24 into it!
Thing is I am soon gonna swap it to stick shift but I got an automatic I'm in los Angeles
Put ECU under the rugs of the passager foot.....
Nah somebody’s gunna step on it and screw something up I’ll just tuck it on the side again
Nice....or what about glove box is there space in there?
Thats might work but I’d have to reroute all those wires
Buying a stock 96 within the month.. where do you recommend I start with upgrades?
Ummm I’d start with rims and tires and suspension i can’t stand the stock ride Height on teggys
OMGTeggy thank you! :)
How’s it coming along 12 months later?
How many layers of plastidip?its gotta be thick
No air filter going into the turbo?
Let’s paint it !!!
It’s almost time bro I’ll give you another call today!
You hook the vacuum from the bov to the fpr?
Any vacuum works that’s just how I did it
What tire size you have in the front?
There 205/50/zr15
Get some white rims bro for real 💯
That would be dope maybe just plasti dip the ones I have for now to see how it would look
OMGTeggy Even better idea !
Did you tune it on hondata?
Nope just chipped
I’m a car noob is an integra fwd of rwd? And if it’s fwd is it still fast with the turbo n all?
The Integras regarded as one of the greatest FWD cars of all time. With its B18 VTEC motor, it is plenty fast
good job ...little bro try auto cross
what clutch?
Stage 5 action clutch

Are you going to take your car to Radiator Springs?
Hell yeah! Gunna try for the piston cup too
Where did you get the clear signals on front?
eBay there the cheapest ones haha
how many miles did your car have before you rebuilt your motor?
I swapped it at 200k then swapped it again at 208 with the turbo build
Go with a s2000
Just got dropped by a friend on an integra
