I TOSSED a LIVE BAITFISH off the Pier and Caught THIS! (Saltwater Fishing)

  • I take you guys with me to go fishing at the saltwater pier for whatever bites! This is my first time ever trying to throw a cast net to see if we can get some bait to go fishing with. We then tossed the baitfish off the pier to see if anything will eat it! There can be so many different fish that we could possibly catch in the saltwater and at a fishing pier like this! Will we finally catch our keeping flounder? I didn't expect this to happen..
    Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 474,000 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

    Whenever you’re throwing the cabinet, wait a little longer till it touches the ground then give it a couple yanks then start bringing it in. That will help them that will help you get fish. The water.

    When your test netting wait for the Cassnet that touched the ground, then get it give it a couple yanks and then start bringing it in so you can get more fish at the bottom and top

    I don’t know if it’s just me, but the way I’ve always used a cast net was with three points of contact. One hand and then spread the other out shoulder width, then bit one of the ropes in between the weights. Swing and throw it letting go simultaneously and it usually always lands in the water open.
    😅 good luck love the videos 😂

  • @gstoney0505
    @gstoney0505 2 месяца назад

    When you throw your castnet, you need to spin the weights to get an open circular net in the water. Also, let it get to the bottom before pull it up. A lot of minnows are getting out the bottom of the net.

    Castneting is all about the spin.. make sure you put plenty of spin wen you cast, and the rotation pulls the weights outward creating a perfect circle

    Heres a rig that will let your bait search different depths. Tie a loop in yr choice of mono for a sinker, thread on a bead, then pass line thru one end of a crane swivel, then another bead then a swivel or a loop to tie your braid to. On the free eye of the running swivel tie your leader and hook. This way the bait can travel up and down the length of mono so not only bottom fish but fish up off the bottom can find your livie.
