Just love these segments. The simplest solutions to take a good design and make it great. Basic rules and foundational awareness will always be the way to start.
Thanks for the video. It was really hard to pay attention with the background music. It seamed pretty loud and hard hear you at times. Thats one thing I would ask if you could turn down next time.
Super good fix of a poorly digitized design without having to redo the whole thing! Thanks John. Also, just a note about the background music, there were other voices coming through while it was playing, is that a RUclips thing?
I hope one day to see you on the reality. Secondly, thanks for the valuable information. We also need continuity in the Hatch program, because for a long time you have not downloaded videos with the Hatch program. This is Rehab from Saudi Arabia
Hi, I'm wondering how to makes the ends of a line curved or eased so that its not sharp corners on the ends of lines? For example, on a smiley face mouth. In Hatch😊
What are your thoughts on the Coldesi DesignDeck software? I cant seem to find where to change the angel of the stich, it appears all is done automatically.
Hello, I’m trying to troubleshoot my embroidery design. I am doing a glitter htv appliqué on a tshirt and I’m getting gaps. The person that made the design said since I only paid 3.60 I needed to figure it out myself. True story. I bought the MAMA design for a 5x12 hoop and when I used the glitter htv I saw gaps after it finished. Any advise would be appreciated.. is it user error (me) I am new at embroidery too. Thank you
Considering that the original design had rather generous overlaps between the objects and they still separated, I wonder how much of it is actually the design and how much is due to bad hooping, weak stabilizer and maybe not entering the fabric you intend to use and leaving the software at the all-forgiving, default poly cotton?
I'm new to embroidery. I have designs that have gaps in them but I'm wondering if it's a digitizing issue or if it's hooping or machine tension. On a recent design, in the digital file it's even, but when I went to embroider it, I noticed gapping issues and that it was shifting to the left. The gaps on the left were larger, and some of my design overlapped but only on the left side. What could cause this pulling?
@@KHONAMII I took a break from embroidery and came back to it recently. I haven't attempted any old design, but I've been doing things differently now. When designing embroidery files, there was one feature that removed overlaps, and I've found that it was a major cause of my gapping. As far as the shifting is concerned, I still don't have a solid answer because every new design I've made has come out perfect.

Many thanks for these tips! I do wonder how you would digitize this design with these type of shapes if you were to do it from scratch…
That's what I would like to see, too.
This is a super helpful video. Thanks John!
Thank you John.
Thank you for the grate information
so helpful !!! thank you !
Good video thanks you did good

Thx a lot 👍

I have gaps in between my stitches from a photo that I digitized using the colorstitch tool. What's the best way to fill the gaps in the design?

I am having major problems with the same issue. Orange butts to white... Long satin stiches that move...
