Biggest tip I'd offer, chapter one (tutorial) the day is infinite (until you complete the market selling quest Or The one after that) and you can carry on with no energy, therefore you can clear the entire field, and gather every foragable in the available areas... This can give you a big boost in skills and stored materials ready for the rest of the game.
yes that's a great tip!! if you're not skipping that day at least :D I would probably still leave my farm as is and only gather outside the farm at the beginning, personally :0 the resources on my farm have come in clutch so many times for me already, and now clearing with silver tools just gives me so much more stuff in so much less time! But that's the beauty of these games, so many options to play :D
I just want to say I’ve played this game through two seasons and watched plenty of videos and THIS video has some of the BEST tips that I’ve heard for the first time here. Makes me want to start over with these new found tips! Thanks!
this comment made my day! Thank you so much, I'm so glad you found it helpful! ♥ I started over as well (also to try my own tips tbh) and I did everything in half the time :D
i just started streaming this game and OMG i’m obsessed. this is by far the best tips and tricks video! I am mid way to spring and i’m going to HEAVILY start hoarding my materials. i’ve been selling everything 😭
I have to agree that this Tips & Tricks video is by far the BEST! and I've watched over a dozen (or two or three) I subscribed and turned on notifications cause I hope you have more interesting videos of Fae Farm to share. Thanks!
I am VERY into the game so I am already brooding over the next video idea I can make - if there's anything specific you're interested in, lmk :D thank you so much for the kind words ♥
You can really tell you did your research and tested different ways of playing! This is such a great resource for Fae Farm. And very soothing, thank you!
Very enjoyable tip video. I have bounced around to a few different ones and yours was my fav; very informative and made me giggle several times. Great job !!!
Thank you for the informative video Ela ❤ I just picked up Fae Farm and this video was perfect to see before starting the game 🥰 Also great job with the video! Was a lot of fun to watch 😊
See the house upgrade really is useful! Crafting items for your home can increase your health/stamina/mana bars by filling yohr house with items that support each category! They take effect the next day so you can do more things!
Oh yes I didn't mean that it's not helpful. It's just not what I'd do at the beginning (since this is an early game tips video). Maybe in summer depending on progress. The same items don't stack either so it takes a while to fill up your house with unique cozy decor ☺️
Great video. I’ve been playing for a couple of days and have watched a handful of videos. Yours is the only one that even mentions the eye symbol and what that meant! 😮😮Thank you!!!
YES omg it took me forever to figure it out. But there is even MORE to it, so I think I want to make an own short video about it LOL but yes the eye means no matter where you are, you recover all 3, health, stamina, and mana! and it stacks with other... recovery-over-time triggers that I'm currently trying to figure out :D ♥
The rhymes do help in remembering xD theres a reason Jingles are a thing no matter how popular. Small side tips It doesnt work immediately, try after a few in game hours, but you can hold left click to harvest on a tree AND open your inventory to pause time in solo play, your character will still be harvesting so long as youre holding left click. Do follow the tip in the video it only pauses time NOT the real world so enemies can still attack you, but if youre gathering or in a safe spot, you can harvest away. It'll still use Fatigue, but no time will elapse. You can spam left click on an ore or tree to hit it faster, so if you only need 1-3 hits to harvest it, instead of pausing time with the above, you can just spam click and it'll harvest only slightly faster. I find that it helps with fishing to spam left click during the fishs fight time where it pulls away so you can keep it closer without snapping your line, or maybe its just wishful thinking. You can reset your collectable spots in the mines, so if I were to eat a Fish and Mushroom soup (+ 2 mining stuff def eat!) and farm out the floor 15+ for all the gems, I could walk outside and quit to menu, continue my load, and then go back inside and do it again in the same day. Wasnt paying attention but this may also affect the world nodes to an extent. Fish and Mushroom soup is made by prepping Fish fillets, Mushrooms and shellfish at the cooking table then converting the prepped ingredients in a cooking heart for the soup, it also cures 75 fatigue and the buff lasts 5 in game hours. I built a second Gem polisher because I noticed like in the video, you can concurrently craft the same items in SOME of the crafters like the polishers, so I can look at one, stack it with 9 single instances of an item, and then do the same with the second polisher, turn around and theyre almost finished. SPOILER; . . . . . . . The mines and each subsequent mine is 25 floors deep and all follow the same guidelines. Theres going to be 2 ores, and 4 rough gems, the first ore youre going to need to make 12 seals like copper, 4 for the first 4 floors, and then the other 8 to craft with the first two rough gems to make the other two types of copper seals to unlock the next 8 floors. The process repeats again for the floors 13-24. Each mine has a gimmick where you can temporarily access the next floors for the instance of you opening it without teleporting access, however, if you make it to floor 25, you can teleport to floor 25 from any floor youve unlocked. so if you only unlocked the first 15 floors and somehow clear the puzzles to get to floor 25, you can teleport to it from any of your floors youve unlocked fast travel. Theres going to be a quest at the bottom which is going to require you to complete a large gathering quest to clear and move on the story. If you want said items list, look it up bc idr off the top, but it is 5 items, some are gatherable, some require crops, some require cooking, etc.
ahh thank you, that means the world!! 💜 This is my first ever "tips" video so I still have a lot to learn, but I'm glad it came across the way I intended it to 🥰
oh my goodness hello it's so lovely to see you here, and I'm so happy you loved the video!! I am enjoying Fae Farm sooo much myself, I literally think about it all day LOL I want to start working on another one this weekend, there's sooo much to explore 🥰
Im in autumn at the third dungeon, and you are the first person ive seen mention the regeneration buff. Ive been so curious what the eye icon was. Thank you! Amazing video too!
Ahh I'm so happy! 🥰 I'm working on a short video for the eye buff because there's a lot of stuff around it (I did a lot of trial and error :D) and how it goes in line with other energy regeneration methods!! I've just been sooo busy with work this week and also preparing for an international move, so I hope I can get it done asap 🙏
I just wanted to say I think the games been updated as far as not pausing when accessing your storage! I’m playing on the Switch, and it definitely pauses now
yes update 1.4.0 from October 17th changed this. But since this video is from the launch week in September, it doesn't reflect that. I'm really glad they changed it!! ♥
Also after watching your video I really want to restart my game as I felt I missed a lot of opportunities. I’ve just finished spring season. Would you recommend restating or just playing on from where I am?
I was kinda forced to restart since the game save made during the preview were limited to a certain amount of chapters, and I was actually really happy I did. It didn't take me super long, and I did what I previously achieved in the entire month in less than half the time ☺ I definitely feel like starting over is not so tedious. But there's nothing wrong with exploring the game further, either! you can have multiple game saves (on PC at least, so I'm sure its the same on the Switch) so you don't lose your progress! ♥
I haven’t watched much in the vid yet but I want to note that your first tip I kind of disagree with. If cleaned up my entire farm before I finished the first few quests and officially started the game which was a good idea as the at first day, even tho your stamina goes down you can keep going as much as you want. For me it was worth it cleaning up my whole farm and I also went out and collected as much stuff as I could since I had never ending stamina and this helped me my first few days as I was able to make things I needed easier without having to go collect more stuff
I'm not entirely sure what you mean 😅 do you mean self made seeds have a higher chance to turn into a different crop with crop swap fertilizer? Idk if there's any evidence for that but but if it's a crop that isn't sold (everything made with magic crop swap fertilizer) then I think the easiest/most efficient is to turn them into seeds directly. I was just talking about the crops you can actually buy at Holly's shop (turnip, cauliflower) ☺️
Good tips but I don't understand how you save money buying basic seeds vs growing them and turning into seeds... say have a designated spot to have all my basic crops.. if I plant 16 of each crop.. cauliflower I get 3 seeds per caloflowet grown. So at the end of the cycle I get 48 seeds from California.. I plant 16 more in my basic crop garden and use the remaining seeds and use the magic crop fertilizer at the same time. Once another batch of cauliflower is grown I store 32/48 seeds for later use again for magic fertilizer and plant another 16 cauliflower seeds to grow more califlower.. rinse and repeat without having to spend more money past the initial one since the basic crops can. Be grown all year round.. idk that's my advice. Same goes with the other basic crops not just califlower..
Time is really running away very fast in the game... One Fae Farm day ends soo quick! so from time to time i really use wemod to freeze the time to get my daily stuff done. in early game u will spend your first money for a greater bag trust me!! when u unlock the mine u will thank me for this. 😂🤫 GAME BUGS: i know about 2 atm: the first is u can't place things anymore. to fix it, just go back to the starter screen, easy. ^^ the second: if u upgrade your pickaxe to the iron one from time to time u can't use F for the magical skill. (PC) to fix it, do the same like with the first. ^^ Anyway ...this game is really cute and addicting. Just pet one of your animals, sooo cute Sounds. 🥰🥰🥰
I love the game too, I'm very addicted haha. But I totally agree, I wish time would go a TAD slower ;-; Thank you for sharing!! I also noticed a few bugs not being able to click "craft" anymore after changing the amount. And one that causes quite a severe input lag where the game doesn't seem to react anymore to my mouse clicks (especially "back"). Restarting fixes it though!
I enjoyed this video and very helpful tips, but I will say your second voice in background was kinda annoying 😬 there were times it was talking over your voice and hard to make out what you were saying. Either way, ty got the tips 🙂
I appreciate the feedback! It was my first edit with a second voice (and my first tips video in general) so I will certainly refine it in the future. I'm glad you enjoyed the tips anyway ♥
I mean thats kinda the point of a secondary voice, no? I always enjoy second voice tiktoks etc, but maybe it doesnt fit so well into a tips video. But this was my first edit so I definitely have a lot of room for improvement :)

I haven't really thought about selling them, but I never have enough ore for ingots, so maybe thats something for later? what's the selling price? 👀 But its an interesting aspect! I was definitely just talking about not crafting too many to unlock floors 😊
thank you so much, I truly appreciate the kind words!! I hope I get to make an update video once my cross continental move is done by the end of the year ♥
This is the new standard for tips videos holy shit.

Not only was this video very informative, but I have top point out that your editing style is great and a lot of fun :D
Ahhh thank you so much that makes me so happy!! This was my first guide so I hope I can further improve on editing with an own style ☺️

honestly writing the rhymes was my favourite part :D thank you so much!! ♥
Best video of tips ever made! ❤
I had no idea about the sleep buff. Thank you so much.
I may or may not have taken notes 😅
Thanks!! You’re such an engaging presenter and I love the rhymes/your humor! 😊
ahh thank you, that means the world!! 💜 This is my first ever "tips" video so I still have a lot to learn, but I'm glad it came across the way I intended it to 🥰
I spy Wouwter and Pxi! Great video Ela, thanks for the tips!
haha yes! They get along great in that coop :D thank you for watching ♥

Yeah! we noticed the edits, and not gonna lie, it was refreshing! Nice video thank you!
thank you so much!! I truly appreciate the kind comment ♥
Can you show us your farm layout, please! Have a great day! ❤😊
I am still trying to figure out things. Most of these I have already learned, but not the quick ports. Thanks for the tips.
I'm glad the video was still helpful! Happy fae-ing and farming!! ♥
I wish they would slow down the day clock, hard to go further in the tame and deal with farm upkeep at the same time.
Nice video and a very cosy voice, thanks
ahh what a sweet compliment! Thank you so much! 💜
The best tips so far! You explained so many things that I was confused about! Great video!
ahhh thank you so much I'm so happy to hear that!! Makes my day 💜
I’m almost finished with the first spring and I feel like now knowing your tips I’m going to start over cause I did a lot wrong 😂
Thank you for all of these tips...and love the rhymes!
Thank you so much 🥰💕
Thank you! This was very informative and entertaining.
ahh this makes me so happy! Thank you!! ♥
So helpful, thank you! I've been running around looking for who sells flowers lol
ah I'm glad! I always like to add that since I often struggle remembering places and finding my way around, so I'm happy it helped ♥

You get a like just for the calming voice
Thanks for the tips! I'm new here! Hello cozy sis!
thank you so much, I truly appreciate it!! Cozy sisters!!! 💖

What is an undiscovered item. I’ve been looking for days to upgrade my tools
Your voice is relaxing
Thank you!!!!!!!
thank you for watching ♥
I just got the game today on my Nintendo switch
I hope you enjoy playing it!!!
I ply harvest moon and garden paws to?
but making your seeds from crops makes it more able to get the other veggies not sold right? when you do it with flowers it gives oher colors

I love the game too, I'm very addicted haha. But I totally agree, I wish time would go a TAD slower ;-;
Thank you for sharing!! I also noticed a few bugs not being able to click "craft" anymore after changing the amount. And one that causes quite a severe input lag where the game doesn't seem to react anymore to my mouse clicks (especially "back"). Restarting fixes it though!
I enjoy your video.
'Imagine making ADHD your entire personality', I mean, I *practically* do the same for Autism? 😅
I'm glad you enjoyed the tips anyway ♥
me forgetting that i have a storage bin
that's me with my long term memory tbh 😩
The secondary voice is so confusing.
You could at least make them not overlap if you wanna do a secondary voice :
I mean thats kinda the point of a secondary voice, no? I always enjoy second voice tiktoks etc, but maybe it doesnt fit so well into a tips video. But this was my first edit so I definitely have a lot of room for improvement :)
I already cleared out my farm 😅😢
that's okay!! it's not tragic, and when the season changes there's usually a few things respawning
The interior house decorating is pretty lame - however I had to upgrade my house size so that I could fit more random furniture in there to increase my health/mana/stamina
I was a bit disappointed, too, but then I also have to remind myself that not every game has to be The Sims - and maybe we get some upgrades in the future!! But thats also why I upgraded my house eventually LOL
(also psst we replace "lame" with "boring" or "dull" or "disappointing" or something like that because its an ableist term
She said dont craft to many seal (i maid my early money whit those make as mutch as you want)
Copper respan and is not that usefull when you farm for gem you get lot of it
I haven't really thought about selling them, but I never have enough ore for ingots, so maybe thats something for later? what's the selling price? 👀 But its an interesting aspect! I was definitely just talking about not crafting too many to unlock floors 😊
Man ai is wild
First again ^~^
And yes, I made it to the end. But also, ADHD, so I watch on 2x speed :p
"promo sm" 😍
I keep hearing something under the voiceover.. ugh very distracting
This was a great video, I just picked this up over the steam sale and this was the most helpful video I’ve found, and funny, thanks. New sub.
thank you so much, I truly appreciate the kind words!! I hope I get to make an update video once my cross continental move is done by the end of the year ♥
