His “special talent” isn’t that great, it’s what every top team has as their backups, even shit schools have talent. He isn’t recruiting good at all, zero good commitments for the next class. Majority of the top recruits are already committed to schools. He can have them wins against bad quality opponents, no powerhouse team is gonna take them seriously lmao
Travis Hunter is too small for a True Big Receiver like Stanford's #13. He treated Travis like he was a Junior Varsity corner.
Lets be honest this is on Dion. Hes only going to coach Buffs long enough to get his kid a heisman and drafted 1 or 2 then hes gone.
Then he'll try to get an NFL job where they're at
@@Duck_Dodgers He has stated he does not want to coach in the NFL. Says he doesn't even watch the NFL. Says he likes developing young men.

Usually when a team has a 2 way player they have set plays for offense and only plug them in at certain times..
What happened to all the Heisman and "Do you believe?" talk Prime? lol
Travis is a very talented athlete, that is certain. What I don't like really is that he chose to play for Colorado knowing the schedule they had would allow him to not have to go up against some of the best athletes in college. It's like playing Madden set on Easy mode.
Thank you
I’ve never seen Hunter exposed like this before. For a “can’t miss” prospect this was a terrible look:

He played to many snaps on offense.
Exactly!! There no way he can play that Many snaps and be dominant on both sides . They need packages for him to play offense
@@DGreat-nk7euI feel like he's a way better WR than Corner. Honestly should be opposite!! More offense snaps less defensive snaps
Nah, he needs to play exclusively on offense.

When social media brainwashes you
That penalty he had was a complete game changer ! Which led to a TD
@DGreat-nk7eu - Yep, it did. That doesn't show much discipline. I had to laugh when the Stanford player pointed at Hunter, then pointed at the penalty flag. That is the kind of stuff I didn't think would happen on a Coach Prime team - those types of penalties should not be. Maybe less time on social media and more time in meetings and watching film.
@@greenbeagle13 Doesn’t show old school coaching to me. To many unsportsmanlike penalties, every week! Deion needs to discipline this team instead of all that cuddling bs. Take your helmet off on the field or unnecessary activity after the play, you won’t play. Players keep getting away with doing what they want on the field. Coaching staff is soft, too much joking and laughing in practice. I rock with Colorado but this is starting to look bad on all levels.
Yall making excuses for Travis saying he fatigued this and that. Theres a big difference between high school football and D1 college. The tape don't lie, he aint him. Deion is a master at Marketing and can make yall think dog shit is steak. Travis is an average corner at best.
I blame coach Prime for this lost he should have made the adjustment in real time to take Travis off of defense and put in one of the pure corners
Prime is not a good coach
If Travis Hunter was that guy he should have have at least 2 picks with one ran back to the house. He has average speed and doesn't have the instincts to be deion. Travis is going to continue to get smoked,
I think what got exposed is the fact that playing both ways where is a kid out just like it would anybody and when you're tired and worn-out you make bad decisions. They need to focus him on defense and get the offensive players to step their game up to give him the rest every player needs
That boy alot bigger than Travis, this goes back to when Travis said me and the weight room don't get alot.....

Travis Hunter is a sorry individual. Stop saying he is HIM when he is clearly not that guy.
Living proof that it's not possible for a WR/DB to be effective while going both ways against elite Top 25 teams....Hunter was always a step behing on D

03:10 Yup..... Pick up your jock strap, Travis.
As much as I love Hunter, he should just stick with being a WR
Why, he wasn't the best WR on that field.
I think his CB play suffered because all of the snaps on offense, he’s gotta play a lot less WR and stay at CB.
The man still balled like crazy and had 130 and touchdown shut up 😂
He isnt in shape
Hmm… so a receiver that plays one way vs a guy that plays both ways full time 😂 lol… okay 👌🏽
Hunter isn’t the shut down corner media make him out to be. He avoids tackling if the play is in front of him, just like Deion did in his career. He lollygags, appears disinterested often and unlike Deion does not have elite cover speed or instincts. He’s a fantastic wr, stick to that.
There aren’t many DB’s, if any that DONT get scored on. It’s a part of the game…
Number 13 is a grown man out there.
They're both sophomore
At 4:23 my boy calling for a sub give gang a break he just came back from injury
Speaking from experience, Hunter is a great athlete BUT, he is not the best cornerback (right now). plus he has been out for 3 weeks. DB is the hardest position on defense. The WR he was against has had 3 weeks to get better. Coach Prime should put #1 Cormani McClain , he's getting better week by week . and his height and reach will make a difference. Keep Hunter primarily on offense increasing the power of the offense, giving Shedeur more options. Too many ideas, someone please get this to coach Prime. Terrible management on the part of the defensive coach, too many players on the field ...how many times, damn, easy solution for that.
Peace
What evidence do we have the Deion is good coach? We know he can attract talented teenage boys to transfer via the league's transfer portal. What else?
Because his admirers on ESPN said so lol.
I've never seen a corner not be "exposed." No corner can matchup with 100% of the players they will face, and it's for many reasons (too many to write about in YT comments for sure). Travis will be fine....amazing athelete that has more strengths than weaknesses. He'll make some plays...and he'll get smoked on some plays. Nature of the game...and if you disagree, you probably never played at a competive level. Every CB in every power 5 conference has been "exposed" if they have been targeted enough...but there aren't many who can change a game the way he does....on both sides of the ball.
True statements. Most of the folk in the comments weren't even average high school players. Travis makes more plays than most elite corners....he will definitely be fine.

This on the coaching staff; when they seen Trav and Stoutmire strugglin; Cormani should’ve been given an opportunity. We also had Travis Jay available too. I don’t think Omarion Cooper was active this game, but if he was he should’ve been out there. Sometimes you gotta switch it up if things ain’t working how you planned. Defense definitely lost the game for us, but hopefully we can learn from this and come back better! Trav is still working his way back from injury, and should’ve only played offense this game. That was too much for him be 100% at both positions; something had to give.
We? Are you on the team?
The problem is that the alternatives that you mentioned are trash 🗑️ Travis Jay hasn’t played since he got burned in the Oregon game. Cormani is hitting the transfer portal and Cooper was the one that slipped to give up that 97 yard TD.
