Fantastic song! all songs of Sonata Arctica are great and epic. but there is something special about the itro in this song, I can`t explain it. but the best description I can give in how I perceive and imagine it: is a war that is over, but still have clear traces. many lives have been lost, and buildings are in ruins. The people still have major damages both mentally and physically. (I have never experienced war myself, only heard and read about it)
Beautiful song tributes to the empowering glory of the life it solemnly describes. This being the first of their songs I have listened to prior to posting this comment I shall be expecting more grace-in-taste in some of their other work.
this starts a cd like it should thank you for the great music sonata arctica...even if the likeliness any of you will even read this is as high as the friday song ;)

Next time I see this in a shop I'm going to buy it. Definitely. Such a great collection, and I'm missing so many epic songs of them in my catalogue.

This song reminds me the movie Gladiator... great song !!
In an interview Tony Kakko apparently said this song was inspired by the movie Braveheart. So close enough
