Love your videos Lisa! Just wish they were a little longer...like 30 minutes or more, so that I can sit back and relax with my cup of tea while I watch. lol
I hear you and understand and this warms my heart. Maddie suggested that we break this Spring video into 2, thereby separating the cooking portion for those who just want to cook. It's actually more work for her, but it will be posted over the weekend. She also suggested I start doing more vlogging where I walk around with the camera when I feel inspired ha! That's a hurdle I need to get over, but we're about to start another big remodeling project and I may just need to do it just so I can invite everyone in to see the progress! Thank you for sharing! xo
How nice to see you again Lisa! Like you, we have been having gloomy and rainy weather, so I am more than ready for Spring. Love the beautiful arrangements you did! TFS
LISA!!! I love this so much! Oh you're home is so inspiring and beautiful. Thank you for sharing all the beauty that surrounds you. I've had such a bad day. It's so great to escape from all of that and just take a few minutes to distract my mind.
Oh Stephanie I'm so sorry to hear. It's my hearts intention to create a few moments of simplicity and peace for my ladies to be lifted into possibilities that are above our worries and concerns - the place where God lives and all is well. Rest well tonight xo
@@lisaemeterio you are such a doll. Thank you! So happy for the weekend and enjoying my Saturday. I'm going to watch your video again for inspiration and head to the garden center. Sending lots of love.
Lisa, The anticipation of Spring and all its new birth can be visualize by just that. By bring in beautiful plants into our spaces helps us to continue in the Season until Springs has Sprung. Enjoy the beauty of each season!
Lavender and lilac are my joy! 💜💜💜 Thank you for this sweet soon-to-be-spring encouragement, Lisa! What is so easy for you, is not for me....but I love every moment of your inspiration. 💜🪴💜
I appreciate this so much Marla, and I do hope that showing the simple steps will make it easy for you and others who find it daunting. You've got this girlfriend! :) I've been working on a big house project that's going to start on Saturday. Figuring out how to film while managing the project is daunting for me - but I do believe that I will start vlogging tomorrow! Pray for me please! Thinking of you xo
@@lisaemeterio Prayers lifted up for you, the GC, the subs...all that are involved with your project! It is a labor of love and I pray they get “it”. SO important. The next time we chat, I have a story about my GC that will make your heart soar. God is so good. I am repeating your words back to you...”you’ve got this girlfriend!” SOOO excited to see what you and Tommy are doing with your home. Can’t wait to hear and see all. You are my greatest inspiration and I am grateful for the gift of you on my screen and in my life. 💜
Oh yes! Was just thinking about you and your soon-to-be garden btw! It helps to start by simply spending hours just looking in books and online for gardens you love (and don't) + learning all about plants and trees that do well in your zone. Based on your zone, determine which ones you like, which ones will fit and which ones have the same (light, water and soil) requirements. A good nursery can help a lot! Once you have a good understanding of plants that will work and color or uses for them, it's fun to start mapping it out with a paper, pencil and eraser! xo
@@lisaemeterio Our garden is mostly shade at this house and that is new to me so I'm investigating shade loving plants that will come back every year. My husband loves hostas and I'll be looking for some flowers as well. So much to think about! Have a wonderful day Lisa 💐
Hi Lisa, What a beautiful home you have! Love sheep too! I may try African violets again; my dad and my friend, Margaret always had such good luck with them. Do you let them dry out or keep them damp to the touch? I really like how you arranged them and yes, moss is my friend too. The way you used pinks to purples really made a statement and eyes went from one flower arrangement to another. Thank you for sharing beauty with us!
Hi Janice, great question. I water them heartily, just before they dry out. About once every 10 days. My grandmother taught me to use liquid African violet fertilizer every other watering and it keeps them quite strong and happy! They're sensitive to light as they wilt in direct sunlight, but need a bright spot in order to flower. I just moved the violets that weren't blooming on the kitchen island to a bright spot along the window ledge by the master bath! Fingers crossed for some summer blooms! Thanks for reaching out! xo
Hi Lisa! What a Treat to watch your Video! I always get so inspired by You! 💕 I never knew that is how you water Violets. I will have to try and remember that. The arrangement is GORGEOUS!! Your Home looks so lovely!! 💕🌷🐇🌷💕
Thank you so much Trudy! It was my grandmother who taught me how to care for her violets. They built in a long planter box along the north facing window of their library and she must have had 15 violets that lived for years! Her plants were her babies and I now care for violets like they're hers! It keeps her close to my heart. xo
Thank you Barbara, I know it seems like forever! We've been seriously entertaining the past few weekends, which takes up our filming time. Time to get back to work! :)
Simple, beautiful, easy!!! My kind of arrangement. I just love your home so much. Had to keep pausing to take in all your touches. Love the rustic dough bowl with the neutral eggs, next to the softness of the lavender colored bouquet. The sweet tea set on the tray... it just all says come in, relax, stay awhile. And what a treat , at the end , to see your grandmothers flower filled bowl and my favorite little sheep on the table! That room is my favorite!
Hi Beautiful! I love how you express yourself with words. It always delights me to no end! And the way you remember the things that are precious to me is so very lovely. I haven't forgotten that you wanted to show me how you decorated your outdoor fireplace at Christmas and I still want to see it! Maddie suggested I reach out and invite everyone to send me photos through instagram. I'm just a baby at instagram, but it is a way for my ladies to share pictures and projects with me. Just a thought! xo

Hi, I planted a bulb and tuber garden many years ago and it was amazing to witness. They popped through the earth naturally based on the weather. I’ve forced narcissus bulbs indoors in the winter, but never in a garden. Is this something you do??!!
I love the idea of using antique soup tureens, etc for houseplants or flowers. Thank you for sharing. I was curious: you were going to share your favorite home fragrance in the description box but I didn’t see it mentioned. Could you please share?
Hello Miss Susie Q, most of my linen dresses I get from a shop on Etsy called "linennaive". They make beautiful dresses, that I sometimes alter to make less "costume-y"! :)
Okay had to get my magnifier out to answer this one lol! Tarte "rogue" is my go-to lip color for years. I buy it in bulk for fear of discontinuation. It's a bit on the purple, magenta side, and if fully applied it might look ghastly dark (or rogue!). However, it blends well with chapstick or lip balm. Moving into Spring, I also blended in a bit of Mac "Snob" 821 Satin Lipstick. Interesting product names they come up with these days. Hope this was helpful. :)
I loved the music and the birds chirping! You did put a spring in my step and inspire me to deep clean and get some flowers as a reward!
I love this Sevahn! Creating rewards is motivating! xo
