Survive the Internet is easily my favorite game. It's so good when you get with a group of people that are even a little witty. The random ass prompts mixed with people making stupid answers is the perfect combination. I know it's your opinion but I can't believe you put it outside the top 10.
I had so much fun playing this one. There was one time where I was given a picture prompt which was a kitten in a basket and the caption someone wrote for me was “I stole this! : D” and I know that doesn’t sound that funny but it killed me
Trivia Murder Party is my all time favourite Jackbox game. I like the goofy host, silly questions and fun mini-games and the last dash is always so intense
I luckily had the chance to try Fakin' it with my friends once And believe me that it's amazing I agree that it's a problem for a game to require physical attendance to play, but it was worth it
My current favorite game is Talking Points simply because my friends and I made up a new variant to it. There's only three of us, so what we do is each join on two devices. That way you get to give two talks, and it can lead to some cursed rounds, especially if you get picked to choose the pictures for your own talk.
The biggest problem with the game is it has to be in person. Most other games work completely fine over the internet. But that one specifically requires you all to be in a group in person, where you have a screen large enough for you all to see while also being able to display the game itself. (Because unless you have your Xbox/pc plugged into a tv, that could be an issue)
@@Puggylord316you can very easily play fakin' it on discord or something just by saying up or down for the hand raising, saying a number for the number one, saying somebodys name for you gotta point, and saying an emoji for the face one.
@@DolphinII_ that works I guess, but its way harder. If you say it outloud, you have to remember who said what, and if you type it, you need to have an awkward unnatural pause for questions to make up for the extra time. And its a lot less enjoyable even when that does work.
10:53 I had to mute my mic at the end of this game because I got unironically MAD that I lost this game solely because I was Mummy and Bumble was Vampire. Never did I think a Jackbox game would piss me off.
10:45 - The Mummy's ability is not objectively worse. You're _stealing_ half a heart from those players. The Vampire only receives _bonus_ hearts, which don't reduce their victims' scores.
i still think that vampire is more effective since half a heart doesn't do very much anyway getting three and a half hearts by stealing is a lot less than seven hearts
that is true, the thing is though that a lot of it can depend on who the vampire/mummy infects. Like if they infect a zombie, then that zombie is basically doubling up the work they need to put in because its also trying to spread. And the mummy can only take away half a heart from 1 person each, so as long as the vampire gets to 1 more person they will win.
2:38 the weird wording is one of my favorite parts about you don’t know Jack compared to other trivia games. It’s fun to try to figure out what the question is asking
Earwax has given me giggles and I don't mind playing it every once in a while. I think it's a good foundation that should get a sequel to make it a bit more... More. I can't say the same about Zeeple Dome.
In earwax I got the great combo once of "who wants hot dogs" and pigs squealing. the prompt ( what's inside of a wizards robe ) didn't matter, since it was really funny
Earwax gets old if you play too much, but is pretty fun otherwise. I agree a sequel can improve it drastically because it honesly feels unfinished. However, I have to disagee but Zeeple Dome was pretty fun when my family played max lobby. The fun for us came from bullying the person who missed a kill. Or everyone flinging desperately to save one another as we cry for help haha.
I love YDKJ, the 2011 version is probably my favorite trivia game ever, and I recently picked up one of the old ones. That being said, I don't really blame people for not liking the way the questions are written. It can often be tough to figure out what you're even being asked. I think that adds to its charm and gives it layers, but yeah it doesn't jive with everybody. Really hoping we can get a new one in the somewhat near future though.
I'm genuinely a little sad to see push the button so low, as the problems you gave it are what make the game good imo. It's so hard to be an alien in that game sometimes that the aliens genuinely need those abilities for the game to be fair.
The top 9 are there cause it's his list and those are his favorites, and he is a streamer so he will like the games that the community wants to watch rather than a game like push the button with no audience feature. They are there for a reason, cause he enjoys them.
not really i’ve played maybe 2 games of it where the aliens didn’t win easily. the hacking also completely ruins the funniest part of the game which is trying to justify ur absurd answers, the best play is just to say you were hacked every time
Talking Points and Mad Rap City are definitely my favorite of the games I own so far. They're both crazy fun with friends and with peeps you've yet to break the ice with, so it's a W pack to pull out during a party
It's actually Bracketeering that ends up being my group's favourite out of all the games (Tee K.O is up there too). We generally don't see the issue with the repeated prompts in the first round since we find it intense and thrilling seeing which answer is the funniest of the bunch. And then the second and third rounds that come afterwards are just glorious, the most hilarious moments have come from those rounds. Definitely the game to play if you have a party of eight or more. :)
My group and I love The Devils and the Details, but that might be because of the chaos we play with. We all play chaotically as possible, and are super good at the game, leading to a standoff between the selfish people and the people who are, as the selfish ones call them, “party poopers.” It’s a balance to find, but with the in jokes we have we make it work and it’s a ton of fun. A lot of these games I feel like the fun and enjoyment comes from who you play with
Watching this video has made me realise how uncreative a lot of roblox games are. I guess they’re good at hiding the fact they basically stole jackbox games.
The fact that 30 out of 37 jackbox game series are fairly good is amazing. I would argue the order of the bottom 8, with earwax & bracketeering being higher and jokeboat at the bottom. Also would lower drawing games a couple of places, while raising good trivia games. That's just personal preference though.
I have to compliment the Santa Sleighs paradox answer at 21:16 , that was actually pretty smart and funny lmao. it's criminal that it lost to alligators.
My family LOVES Jackbox, but we don't own all of them AND we are usually only 3, so we are severely limited. Our faves, though, are Wheel of Enormous Proportions, Fibbage, Bidiots, Job Job, and Drawful. Unfortunately Trivia Murder Party doesn't flow well with only 3 :( Tho it is my favorite when I get to play with a big group.
5:19 I’ve actually successfully done it online, you just can’t pick the point one. If you are going to do the point one, just have everyone write everyone else’s names down on paper and hold them up on camera to act as the “pointing”
Did it with my friends through Discord and we would all write our answers in the chat and send it at the same time, but it's just better in person cause you can't just quickly see where everyone's pointing and follow along online
Funnily enough, Poll Mine is actually one of my favourite Jackbox games. I like all the discussions and how much you find out about people in the end when you're completely sure everyone picked the same #1 option only to realize you're literally the only one who picked that option at all. I just wish that the time you had to decide was longer.
I came back to this video after 3 months of first seeing it and I think the most bogus placement is YDKJ. I know people don't like it, but it is an incredible game with tons of easter eggs and tidbits. I am not a huge trivia buff, in fact I get most of the questions wrong, but it is criminal to see it at the 3rd to last spot when I would easily say it is at least middle of the pack if not the higher end. Edit: HOW THE F*CK IS ZEEPLE DOME BETTER
Job Job is absolutely legendary in my friend group. It's the one we always come back to. Although, as a trivia fan, Fibbage and Trivia Murder Party have to be my favourite games overall.
Blather Round and Trivia Murder Party 2 are my favorites. I will forever hype up Blather Round, I just wish it took more than 6 players. Quiplash is a classic, and Talking Points is really fun although that game is the worst on this whole list to play with an unfunny group of people (source: I played it once with my coworkers)
blather round is my all time favourite jackbox game, especially fun when you get a really niche topic that you have to work really hard to convey like sharknado
This brought back so many good memories of finding ways to connect in 2020, these games really got us through it. Quiplash should’ve been number one. AND BIDIOTS DESERVES TOP TEN. The satisfaction of drawing the most crappy doodle, watching people bid over $5,000, only to loose $4,000, is the best feeling and leads to the greatest laughs. Also learned of some new games as well! Loved the video!
The final party pack tier list (24:00) : 1. Party pack 3 2. Party pack 7 3. Party pack 8 4. Party pack 6 5. Party pack 2 6. Party pack 5 7. Party pack 4 8. Party pack 9 9. Party pack 1
2:37 "The questions might think that they're being clever, but they're really more frustrating and weirdly-worded." coming from someone who likes YDKJ, you just described the entire appeal of YDKJ. Half of the game is trying to figure out what the question really is.
The clever wording on YDKJ is part of the challenge -- it wouldn't be a Jackbox game or experience without it. YDKJ: The Ride still remains the best trivia game of all time, but unfortunately the Jackbox versions of YDKJ do feel watered down so I can understand the placement if you're not really into pop culture trivia.
I got super sad seeing Earwax on the bottom of the list because that's the game me and my friends always open with because it never fails to get an easy laugh. Survive the Internet and Job Job are the definite mainstays for casual play but Weapons Drawn is the one for when everyone is serious about drawing, so I was hoping those would be a bit higher. But you're entitled to your own rankings.
That first game with the sounds had my family dying last night after Xmas dinner. Everyone thought it was hilarious. Maybe it gets old fast, but it was wicked
2:13 I absolutely agree with the top tiers, would probably move Greed (the blue doll from 1) to my children because I love the little shark guy. I also like Wrath (red from 1) but I can definitely understand not putting it higher.
Monster-Seeking Monster is ultimately the worst game for me. Just because I play with family alot so we don't gravitate to that one. However it was fun when I played with friends before.... until I found out my ex actually cheated with my best friend and they were mocking me during the game since I wasn't aware 😬. Yeah, that game is a no for me lol.
IMO best party pack is undoubtedly 7. It has a Quiplash, Champ'd up, Talking points(which is one of my favorites), and blather round, with the only bad game being devils and the details. although i don't actually own 7 on my current computer :(
#22 Nonsensory (9:17) weird, I'm surprised to see this game so low on the list. The other games that ended up this low, I can see. But Nonsensory is a pretty well designed game with the only gripe I personally have, being that the lines you draw sometimes disappear due to the stylised design on the host's screen.
good video, but could you possibly edit the chapter titles to be the actual game titles? i wanted specific game reviews and that would be easier if they were accurate. thanks!
I cannot stand the slander Word Spud regularly receives. It's such a perfect chill word association game - very different from the vibe of all the other text entry games that would follow it. My friend group loves playing it as a "warm up" game with a few people while we wait for more to join the Discord call. Blather Round is another chill favorite that we tend to play cooperatively. Edit: Damn, Dictionarium at #25 really shows how many of their games are great fun - that's the border where I was like "wow these are all bangers"
Yes Job Jobs is SUCH a fun game. One of my favorite reaction images came from the game, and I think it was one of the best sentences I've made. "I KNOW you talented."
civic doodle would've been my favourite drawing game next to patently stupid, but the final round and it's STUPID SENSE OF HUMOR brings it down so much.
My list #36 zeepledome #35 lie swatter #34 word Spud #33 guesspionage #32 split the room #31 bracketeering #30 jokeboat #29 You Don't Know Jack #28 earwax #27 bomb corp #26 Civic doodles #25 full stream #24 role models #23 push the button (so btw I've only played it a couple times and it doesn't seem that fun kind of like a worse Among Us) #22 drawful 2 #21 devils and the details #20 survive the internet #19 dictionarium #18 bidiots #17 drawful #16 the wheel of enormous proportions #15 fakin it #14 fibbage 2 #13 fibbage #12 fibbage 3 & enough about you #11 monster seeking monster #10 tee k.o. #9 talking points #8 quiplash 1/XL #7 trivia Murder Party #6 madverse City #5 trivia Murder Party 2 #4 quiplash 2 #3 quiplash 3 #2 patently stupid #1 champd up
What’s the Jackbox game that you think needs a sequel?
Fib age is always a good one
Definitely Patently Stupid, always have so much fun with that one
Earwax, that game has so much potential and my friend group loves that game
I dunno
Champ'd up

STI and fibbage carry pack 4 so hard
Trivia Murder Party is my all time favourite Jackbox game. I like the goofy host, silly questions and fun mini-games and the last dash is always so intense
It's trivia murder party
i’ve never really been a fan, I find it quite boring tbh. but i also prefer the games that let you write/draw your own stuff. Also bunger
same here! ngl the host is probably my favorite thing about tmp he’s so silly and i love his personality and humor
Bun-gerrr!
I loveeeee this game
Another day of asking macro to try garden warfare 2
Yes please!
I NEED THIS.
WE MUST HAVE THIS
Yes
That game is one of the goats

And believe me that it's amazing
I agree that it's a problem for a game to require physical attendance to play, but it was worth it
Fr, my friend group plays Fakin it every time we play Jackbox in person
Agreed
Me and my friends play over discord and never really had any issues when you sort out rules properly
Agreed, but it could use some rule changes. I don’t think I or barely anyone I play with has ever won as the faker, so it’s pretty unbalanced
fakin it so low is a crime. if you are able to play it in person its one of the top 5 games in all packs.
My current favorite game is Talking Points simply because my friends and I made up a new variant to it. There's only three of us, so what we do is each join on two devices. That way you get to give two talks, and it can lead to some cursed rounds, especially if you get picked to choose the pictures for your own talk.
Faking it being 29 is the biggest crime of all time
not when you dont know jack and earwax are lower

personally I think Mad Verse City is only great with friends, it's much better to roast someone if you already know them 😈

time to go down another jackbox ranking rabbit hole
18:57 best part of this game is when you accidentally miss read the prompt and then EVERYONE IS CONFUSED 😂
My favorite jack box moment was when my Internet went out mid talking points and my partner somehow clutched up and made me win
SO AGREE I love Earwax
You don’t know Jack is amazing
I agree but the once’s on pc are better
4:50 instantly subscribed once I saw you put some respect on little ducky 💎
putting devils & details _over_ bracketeering when it's what gave us "fester's feast" and "gunther's luncheon" is wild
My silly little gremlin was the outro lol, great video!!
I actually really enjoy Fakin’ It, mostly because I mainly play Jackbox in person, so party pack three has all bangers for me
17:54 The room code of HGTV is sending me, they gonna need to get their shows focused over there with how many buildings are getting destroyed
Anyone else pooping while watching?
Too bad you didn't consider YDKJ had a LOOOOOONG life before Jackbox came around
Proud to be the only person to draw among us for the entire 2 weeks 💕
I appreciate this video and the rankings, and I appreciate you putting yourself out on YT despite a speech impediment.
Love seeing Champ'd Up getting the respect it deserves
The You Don't Know Jack slander is truly a crime. You're going away for a long time bub
Tee K.O. and Champ'd Up are also my favorite Jackbox games
I heavily agree, something about creating a competitor knowing who your opponent is makes for A LOT of funny moments.
0:56 my worst game, cause I'm russian and we have memewax)
8:24 I agree but have you heard the credit song? That is amazing
Good to knwo you like board games now your off my hit list
15:48 Survive the Internet reminds me of the Tumblr Recontextualizing Trend. I love it.
now they need to make a game based on Reddit 50/50
Quixort at #28 is criminal
My personal favorite is Talking Points, fire game.
Same
Lot of fun with the right group
@@slim..reaper Yeah, me and my friends usually play in person, so It's fun to go up in front of the TV to present.
One of the worst games in my opinion.
The sequel to Drawful was actually called Drawful 2 but it wasn’t in a party pack, it was it’s own game
One time in Job Job there was a card that just said "bondage" over and over again
good video, but could you possibly edit the chapter titles to be the actual game titles? i wanted specific game reviews and that would be easier if they were accurate.
FixyText has the potential to be the best one of all the new games. It has everything that made the good ones great.
civic doodle would've been my favourite drawing game next to patently stupid, but the final round and it's STUPID SENSE OF HUMOR brings it down so much.
The moment we found we can buy t-shirt is best of my best moment EVER of my life
18:00 awesome game code, i love Home and Garden Television
This video makes me want to invite some friends over to play jackbox
"I do think Quiplash 2 is the best one, since the last lash changes everytime."
Acronym Lash:
Roomerang is my favorite, because I love reality shows like Survivor and Big Brother.
Blather round is by far the best and most underrated
That is such a great Top 5, can so agree on everything, although……I think TMP deserves a third sequel, we’ve been waiting for too long!!
