Why Cogman Has Anger Issues in Transformers 5. Considered the Robot Butler and personal chauffeur for Sir Edmond Burton. Cogman is a jack of all trades Autobot. We've seen him showcase a level of elegances when interacting with his human contemporaries. But we've also seen him showcase his crazy side when something ticks him off. And there are multiple instances where we see him try to fight this dark persona. As seen when he twitches. Which could stem from a multitude of things. Such as spending hundreds of years serving human. But the biggest thing would have to be his Headmaster ability. Where he rips the heads off his enemies and jumps into their bodies. Given the fact that he's commondeered many victims bodies, some of which were most likely Decepticons over the years. It most likely had a negative effect on his psyche. Causing him to occasionally act out out aggressively.
If only he used some of those Headmaster abilities in the film-
That's the LEAST of this films problems....😉
With something like this being cut, I'm thinking they were getting close to maxing out the CGI portion of the budget. Which I think must have been a lot less than 2&3 and RoTB.

funfact: most of these ticks are visually identical to Sam Witwicky. He had anger issues when driving and eye twitching when nervous.
Weren't his ticks caused by touching the All spark maybe cogman held it at one point too

@@ilminurul8964 if you listen carefully to Optimus when he transforms in Cade's workshop, he yells"No, Sam RUN!" and is confirmed he was with Optimus during ambush, so he was either killed, wounded, kidnapped from cemetery wind. my theory is Sam's wounded body was found and his mind was transfered into Cogman.

First: more humans know they exist, going directly against their orders.
Second: Bumblebee got seemingly killed, which also made me mad and he'll bent of the death of the terrorcons

People were pointing out things in RoTB that should be unacceptable Bayverse Prime, but now it's justified. Some have said that OP shouldn't have killed Scourge since killing Sentinal is a war crime even though he betrayed the Autobots and wanted to enslave humans.
Now here's someone saying Bee was killed ( or so we thought) and that's ok but Cemetery Wind killing Autobots isn't enough for OP to be angry nor knowing Ratchet is dead. 🤷♀️

Like I actually had the opposite and I came out of the cinema annoyed from the film (even though I'm Peruvian and Le Peruvian representation lmao. It wasn't bad though).
But in retrospect.
It was like a reversed Revenge of the Fallen.
The plot was decent in bayverse standards but the action pieces were mediocre by those. Albeit, there are some aspects which are salvageable and such.
Meanwhile, in revenge of the fallen, the plot and specially comedy was mediocre (Sam and his parents plot and scenes, annoying. Only after he becomes a fugitive is this tolerable). However the action was still amazing. Though not as satisfying and detailed as in the first (remember how it felt when you knew each of the Decepticons and they had their own interesting designs and buildup).
So yeah, I don't complain.
I think Cybertronians are like like humans ( obviously not 100%), and some Cybertronians having anger issues makes sense, but Cogman definitely has something else going on. Like an effect of being a headmaster on a con's body. Maybe all of the sbove.
The schizophrenic robot carried the whole movie on his back 😂
The headmaster gimmick would've been cool. Better than re-using shockwave head again

I mean It could also be how he tries to cope with himself being that he has served so many and after time of seeing the ones he served and possibly have a fatherly connection with them would eventually drive anyone crazy seeing multiple people you've cared for eventually die while your still living i mean it would drive even the most sane person insane so it could be him trying to cope with that

I was digging the idea of cogman as a combiner the humanoid size was the head and his original full size body was hidden somewhere in the castle. But sadly they scrapped it.
Cogman has anger issues in Transformers 5 because he's in Transformers 5.
I'm not sure if I needed to know that he is basically a tapeworm that takes your head off. But he is still a cool lovable character and let's be honest all cybertonians can have a crazy side.

Shipped my favorite with my least favorite character, couldn’t do it. The rest was ok but then they brought in my least favorite character (super annoying, there’s no redemption for how snoring they are) and immediately they fell in love, this was not in the tags when I read it

They cut that out. From behind the scenes stuff, there was supposed to be a scene where he straight-up jumps onto Nitro, rips his head off and merges with his body, taking it over as a new head! It was cut, but the scene's still referenced in their figures. Cogman's figure has a removable head that turns into a Headmaster figure, and Nitro's figure features a removable head and a special port made so that you can plug Cogman's Headmaster figure into it. This ability carried over to the SS KSI Boss, which was made using Nitro's mold, SS Thundercracker, which was made using Nitro's mold, but featured a new headsculpt, and Cogman's SS figure, which was made using the TLK figure.

Basically all the autobots have anger issues, play fall of cybertron, hell even war for cybertron and watch the bayverse movies, they are robots sure, but sentient ones and they have emotions so of course one can be psychotic but still fight for the right cause (I really think that the whole war shit is ape shit and generally doesn't make any sense because both sides if they win would still make the most for their race, you'd think super intelligent computers and cars could fucking understand it would kill their planet, still goated franchise)
