They’re nice I remember my best friend had a pair of these 98s in HS they’re dope but I’m with you I would’ve wanted that bright blue pair. The black pair is next to best if I had to choose one. Dope pair.

I have the air max plus leather from 2017. They were my daily’s and most comfortable shoes. But are worn out and I wanted to get another pair but this looks worth the money if the quality holds the same.

Ima big air max fan. I hide the lace bows behind the tongue for a cleaner look. They aren’t like Js where u can leave ‘em hanging.
So I originally went with the white pair but just got the black below retail. Got a tiny scratch on the leather upper while walking and thought it looked like blue underneath. Then I noticed in the lace holes at the top you can see the edge of blue colored leather. They mentioned in the SNKRS video wear away materials and it looks like the black will turn blue. The white pair seems like it will turn yellowed quickly as well.
Are the air units on the outer side , shank plate and out sole a super dark blue? The original Airmax plus are the first sneaker I fell in love with. Settled for the white pair cuz I also missed out on the blue. Love the little details on these. Apparently they are also made to get the aged aesthetic quickly as well.
The outsole is a dark blue. The shank plate is black. I believe the air unit on outer side as well.
can i wear them in winter?
Hi. So, I’m trying to figure out what size I should buy on these. I’m a US9 on basically almost every air max/nike shoes, i just remember going 0.5 size up on Huaraches. But i have a pair of 97/Plus in 9 that i feel a bit too narrow. Do you think i should go tts or 0.5 size up? For reference i wear size 9 in AM90, AM1, AM95
I think you’ll be good with the 9.
I am tts 10.5. Went up .5 to 11 and they fit perfectly for me. I think you can go tts if you don’t mind a tight fit or you have a more narrow foot. My foot I would say is average in width. I go .5 up in air max 95s, new balance 990s v3-5. Tts in Jordan’s. Tts in air max 1 & 90s. Hope that helps
I really like my black pair. Materials and color way is dope. But only complaint is the glue work on the air bubbles. It’s all over every bubble. Wtf

So these are MEANT to fade out after time to a navy blue?? Have you seen that?
I have but you’ll have to do it yourself using sand paper. It’ll probably take forever for the color to change by simply wearing the shoe.
