The majority of the people that use youtube are children and adolescents that have bad taste in entertainment because their palate is underdeveloped. Too many people for some reason find gaming, beauty, vlogs, and "pranking" channels entertaining. It's the same reason why shows like The Office, Parks and Rec, Silicon Valley, Veep, Always Sunny, etc have less viewers than shitty shows like The Voice or any other generic reality based competition program.
