I've never understood this either, Jimmy is by far my favourite RUclipsr (I'm English), but over here he seems relatively unheard of... He's infinitely funnier than any gaming RUclipsr I've seen.
The gaming scene is just way bigger mate, im English too and a huge LATJ fan but youtube is dominated by lets players who feel like they have an easier time coming up with content.
I feel pretty stupid how it took me 1 minute into the video for me to understand the tittle...
