The next time you listen to it, pay special attention to the chord structure of each verse. Ren hid a little Easter egg in there that almost no one catches the first time around. I won't spoil the surprise for you here. Suffice it to say it creates a brilliant symmetry to the whole composition.
This is such a beautiful vibe. It took 10 days from concept to completion.
When I watch this video, I imagine being in a smoky club in Harlem in the 70’s. It’s just after closing, and the waiters are putting the chairs on the tables while the gig musicians have a jam session after hours. A few old timers hang out and listen, sipping the last of their cognac. It is purely a vibe.

You really got into that one, I saw a behind-the-scenes clip while they were filming this and Ren was putting the rap part together, he was singing out loud just swapping words around like it was nothing and the other artists were in the same room doing their own thing.
It hit me then that this guy is on another level and his head must be working at 100 mph all the time, it's no wonder he so much of his own material out there and its all great, there's global artists who could get past their 1st album without bringing songwriters in.
Awesome reaction! One of my favorite things about this performance is how simple it is in its design. This is where alchemy meets synergy. So often, Ren gives us so much more than many artists while using far fewer resources. That’s a talent in itself, IMNSHO!

That was his 2nd i believe, 1st was troubles acoustic, then Fred again, i figured toci would appreciate those 2 especially @meggsy82 this one falls in with those 2 for amazing vocals.

@toci4553 The Telecaster chorus tone sounds a lot like my MXR super chorus (the light blue one). Not sure about the bass, but the tone sounds a lot like the built in chorus my old fender bass amp used to have. Both sound really nice and wet though. Total 90s grunge chorus tone.
