    I bought cards direct from rocketbook and they were 40 for $15 or 80 for $25 with free shipping. I ordered the 80 pack for $25 and I got them in about 4 days via USPS. I've been using them to study languages and I really like it. My kids know they can use it for school (including languages) if they want. Thanks for the video. The tip on screen orientation was a good one for me.

    It's been 2 years now. I made some suggestions to the Study Mode Rocketbook app. Things that I thought might help me. Like randomness rather than showing the same cards in the same order over and over again. Along with randomness, switch between showing the front first to showing the back first in a random fashion. Of course, Rocketbook has to make money selling their books, so upgradingthe app is out of the question. At least, that is my perspective.

      You’re very welcome Bob! I hope they work well for you. I believe that the ‘front’ and ‘back’ of the cards have been reversed in the scanning App since I made my video, so please try one out for yourself before you do a batch of them 👍

    I love these new cloud cards! However, if you run out of cards, and wipe to reuse, I've found that the questions and corresponding answer card get mixed up, with the info previously scanned on that card.

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  3 года назад

      Ahhh... good catch. Yes, if you scan the same card twice in the same batch it would get confused by that. I wonder if the larger 80 pack of cards will have issues differentiating between decks. I would expect that may be able to tell the difference between the decks because they are different colors (and presumably different QR codes).

  • @renerivera2558

    I was so excited to use these cards for studying! The only thing I can't figure out is the app recognizes the side with the lines as the "front" and the side with the dots as the "back". This is the opposite of what you showed in the video. This is annoying because when using "study mode" you essentially see the answer before the question. :(

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  2 года назад

      Sorry for the confusion. They must have reversed the order of the front and back in the app since I made my video. I know that was a big issue for a lot of users.

    Thanks for your review :) I was wondering if you can still use study mode with the mini flip?

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately no. The cloud cards QR codes are linked to each other, front and back, so that they know which is paired with which. That isn't the case for the mini flip sadly 😕

  • @mariezguitar5029
    @mariezguitar5029 3 года назад +2

    Is there a way to create a strip containing all the destination icons and place it next to the QR code prior to scanning?

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  3 года назад +1

      I've tried printing them in the same proportions as a regular rocketbook page and it still is a little funny and doesn't work quite right, but I know others have had luck doing something like that 👍

      @@JakeReevesVideo I’m guessing that the index cards came out recently? They weren’t covered in your review of “Which Rocketbooks I Use Most and Why” episode. I’ve noticed a few people who mentioned being language learners, these would work great for vocabulary review.

    At first I liked the idea but after a minute thinking about it I think these could easily be replaced with just an iPhone app for digital notecards

  • @barbra429
    @barbra429 Год назад +1

    Do they come in a large size and do they come without a black border on them?

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  Год назад

      Just the one size. The black border is a necessary part of the Rocketbook scanning system to aid in page boundary recognition, so it is on all of their products

    • @barbra429
      @barbra429 Год назад +1

      @Jake Reeves OH ok. I actually wanted to use them without the digital aspect. I like the way they feel and that they're erasable too.

    • @JakeReevesVideo

      I see. Unfortunately, Rocketbook only makes them with the borders.

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  2 года назад +1

      Yes, sadly the study mode is still only for the Cloud Cards as far as I know, but I agree, that would be awesome for the mini! Good suggestion 👍

      @@JakeReevesVideo Yes, it would! Although, as I’ve been looking around the internet for all things Rocketbook, users seem to be very inventive, I wouldn’t be surprised someone will come up with something. Thank you for your detailed reviews and reply!

    Do you know if the study mode has a sifting process? When I use index cards I put them in 2 piles...I got the answer correct or did not. Then I would go back through the wrong pile several times.

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  3 года назад +2

      No, I don't think it does, but that's definitely something you should email Rocketbook about. They love customer feedback and even have an idea submission webpage to collect user feedback like that 👍

    When I try studying, I like the vocab term to be on the non lined side, but then the study feature doesn't work. Can you change that in the app?

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  2 года назад

      If you go into study mode, it defaults to showing the lined side first for each card, but you can step through each pair and flip them over. Then, when you move through them it will be in that order. But I think this only lasts until you exit study mode.

    Can any Frixion pen be used on this card?

    • @JakeReevesVideo
      @JakeReevesVideo  Год назад

      Should be able to. I believe all the FriXion products use the same thermosensitive washable ink. Just make sure they are erasable and FriXion brand because the other erasable formulas are suited to the Rocketbook polyester composite pages and likely will ruin them. ✌️ Best bet is to try in a small inconspicuous place in case it doesn’t work - before using normally.
