Why? Your going to buy one when it breaks just to have a nightmare trying to fix an abused M8 and call it unreliable? Sounds like what everyone is doing right now, bunch of idiots making dumb decisions, and these regardless will never be that cheap, you still going to pay at least 50k for one of these in 5 years.
The last one did not give the car time to get into launch control. The one at 8:45, I believe it did. Still, it did not pull the advertised magic number of 2.5sec :( There is a rumor going around the X3MC and M3/M4 forums, that these engines/transmissions only have between 100-150 launches before it goes into limp mode and doesn't launch as aggressive. I had a GTR for 3 Yrs. and only launched it about 5 times. So, I guess 100 launches for the ownership of my M4CxD will be enough (launched it twice so far... neck braking acceleration!)

Its obviously downhill. It's impossible that a stock m8 GC can do 2.5 seconds to 60mph on a flat street (as the title said)
