For the VRF/SS/ID/CWDT setup, if you keep CWDT low level you can just overlevel the VRF so that CWDT cannot trigger it and you still get increased duration from ID

For the record, I made the same mistake on my very first character in PoE following a guide. The guide didn't make it clear not to link the VRF until it outleveled the CWDT and I died very quickly. lol
Same, also try the new ring, Astral Projector. Lets mines cast nova skills(including Stormburst and Pyroclast mines) on top of enemies instead of on top on the mines.
Absolutely love how this build ran during the campaign. This is my first miner and the damage was just insane. Just got to mapping but I’m really having trouble surviving. Keep dying to one-shots. At 3k hp and 75% resists, really need to start getting my life up

Yes this shall be my 4th build of this league, looks alot like fun too me, started with arc, felt crap without investment, went to Molten strike leech bro went to t13 for the first time in POE and then ice shot build but felt a bit wierd. this i shall try! Great build. I'm playing it rightnow it feels so good when clearing maps. I recommend to get Explosives Expert instead of Born in Shadows in ascendancy tree. Skitterbots can shock and chill enemies and your fireballs have high chance to ignite enemies so you can use all of benefits from that skill.
As a Saboteur, we have DPS aplenty already. What we lack is leech and defence layers, so not getting hit is key. Having a blindness aura is a massive 50% cut in being hit, which is crucial to survivability. In fact for most Saboteur builds I take Born in Shadows as my first ascendancy...
Hi Nathan, I'm trying the build now. A couple of questions please: 1) How does Tremor Rod interact with the blastchain sequence? From what I can tell, the second round of detonations is a separate sequence? 2) Isn't it better to path into Counterweight on the left hand, and remove the mana flask nodes and a jewel? Far more DPS this way, and anyway with an Enduring mana flask, all mana problems are essentially solved.

Pantheons are best changed regularly for different encounters, but I've found myself using a lot of Arakaali and upgraded Shakari this league to deal with all the annoying chaos damage.
great guide as usual but why take demolitions specialist instead of explosives expert? almost every other guide recommends the latter. and why two of the rings? do they add up their boni?
Thanks so much for this. I have been wanting to give mines a shot once again since they're clearly OP this league but they're (or at least they were) clearly cancer to play. I heard they're not so bad anymore with the chaining changes and I wanted to see for myself but there are no good guides for beginners out there that I could find. This is a great starting point to see if I can stand the play style now.
I am quite happy to see you make mines aswell :D How come you prefer Marty staff over Tremor rod for Pyroclasm mines? Also my crafted -9 FireRez +2Pyroclasm projectile helmet has 6 mods so I can't try and craft focus on it, do you see any possible alternatives or do I just yolo 50/50 annul orb it?
The Focus thing is a personal choice of mine, you don't have to use it- I just think it's an easy way to apply tons of - fire res. Martyr of Innocence is simply more damage and more survivability (it has a ton of extra block chance) than Tremor Rod.
Playing glacial cascade miner atm, which is also an amazing one. Did not know about the trigger mine sequenece breaking though, and that would explain why my damage feels somewhat inconsistent at times I guess, but few fights lasts long enough for it to matter. Anything but the very end bosses are perma frozen anyway, so haven't really put much thought into it. It does make me wonder how this affects the spell totem though. If you go looking, many builds suggests to link trigger mines with a spell totem, and then just spam mines on longer fights. It feels more comfortable for sure, but It sounds more like that is a bad idea if it keeps breaking the sequence. Then it would be better to focus on manually triggering less often for bigger bursts. Although in my case, its the continuous cascade of ice to the face that keeps them frozen. So does the totem also break it or does it wait for a sequence to end before it starts a new one? Not sure how smart it is, only know it does not cast without mobs nearby. Also not sure if the mobs need to be in range of the actual mine, or if it just detonates closest mine as soon as a mob is near the totem. With the cascade filling the screen and traveling an adittional 2 screens away it's hard to tell. Anyone done any testing on this?
i heard early in the league that tremor rod was bugged... GGG came out and said it was working as intended but some said it felt really bad did you have any issues with it?
Another fun option is replacing one of the rings with an astral projector. You can still absolutely melt bosses without that second anguish, and it eliminates the need for a weapon swap. Fireball looks cool, but the projector makes pyroclast a decent enough clear skill on it's own as well.
@@chodenode It makes any nova skill cast at the target instead of around the source. Think shock or frost nova. When you normally cast those, it is an AoE centered around you. With the ring on, it casts at the target location(your cursor). Pyroclast is a nova skill, so with the ring on, instead of the mine detonating at the mine, it targets the nearest enemy and detonates there, even if they are several feet away. In short, it detonates on a target rather than the mines location.
@@CouchGuy19 I see what you're saying. So it just improves it for clear speed, but not necessarily for bossing, right? Have you had better experiences using pyroclast in this fashion for clearing maps?
@@chodenode Yeah, it is mainly for clear speed. It is a little less damage because you use a ring slot, but even for some bosses you don't need your mines on top of them for the mines to hit them. To answer your last question, I'm honestly only going off of what I've seen and been told. I've watched a few vids on it, and one of my buddies uses the ring after I told him about it and he swears by it. He was originally doing a weapon swap for clear, but after getting the ring, he now uses pyroclast for clear and bossing.

But i wonder in your path of building you are using a rolling flames cobalt jewel but there are no 40 int in the radius. So this jewel is not usefull at all or do i miss something ? cya

I have to say that was very solid and damage was decent. Now the main thing is, I have ~50 exalts of budget. If I try to do this build, how would be my damage? I thought I can buy the ''luxury'' items that you've stated but I want to hear your comment. How much is the cost of those luxury category build approximately? Thanks for your work!
@@nathanbrotherbob Alright thanks. Also, did you try using Anger instead of Skitterbots? According to PoB, Anger gives more DPS and it lets us to buy a fire pen. Watcher's eye (not so expensive as stand alone) but Skitterbots have some utility stuff going on, if I'm not mistaken. What do you think? Anger is %50, maybe mana problems?
Nice video! I’ve been running Miner since league start but its a different build to yours. I’m running MoM with Ice Spear for single target and Arc for clearing. Just a question: do you think Pyroclast mines are better for bossing than Ice Spear? Seeing you decimate bosses like in this video makes me feel like I’ve made a mistake using Ice Spear, even though I still do kill most bosses in 15-20 secs with awakening 5+
Pyroclast has absurd burst, but as I tried to convey in the latter part of my video, it can be tricky to pull off. The new unique ring, Astral Projector, probably helps a lot with that, but I didn't want to give up my second Circle of Anguish. I do think Pyroclast has better potential than ice spear to one tap bosses (all footage was done at woke 8), but getting it to perform better in "real world" scenarios will require some practice.

That, or I reroll and sell some of my current gear to get your recommended items! I currently have fire res at highest overcapped (110ish%) and my lightning and cold res are around 100%. Does this give me fire pen? 2. I bought a strength-int ilvl85 helmet base with 2 extra pyroclast projectiles base for 2ex and I'm trying to craft life and the fossil -9% fire res to nearby enemies mod on it. I've been running Icicle mines all content and found that with an Enlighten 4 connected to Zealotry, Herald and Precision you can run all 3 and still lay out 19 mines+. Enduring mana flask is required but it's better damage than Skitterbots, not that Pyroclast needs more damage but endgame goals.
@@Thjr13enGhost Fireball clears much better since they nerfed icicle mine, so I would recommend using fireball over icicle mine. You can also only use pyroclast mine with the new ring astral projector, which will make mines autotarget enemies and cast pyroclast on top of them, making the clear actually enjoyable
Else focus/fire pen is better than controlled/combustion. Cont is really bad on mines generally. And if you don’t wanna swap that you should at least go explosives expert since you aren’t using tremor aswell. Ur focusing more on front end but less total damage so explosives might give a bit more. Tremor is impossible to beat in terms of total damage.
I just get into maps with this build and get the currency to buy the rings. I wanna know if there's any difference between a vaal fireball gem 21/23 and fireball gem 21/23? Because the first one I can get for 15c and the second one for 60c. Thx and good work! Nice guide and build!
Does anything change in 3.10 with the new cluster jewels? I think a medium jewel that gives mine damage bonus as well as a socket for a small life jewel would be good.
I'm a little confused about the herald of ash gem, though. Why have it so that it's cast when you focus? Is the mana reservation to intensive or something?
Herald of ash doesn't actually have anything to do with the focus setup (you can't trigger skills that reserve mana) - that just happened to be where I fit it into my own build.
Hey Nathan, I have a question about your older winter orb build. Does skill effect duration still work with the skill? I took both duration nodes early on in the tree and am around level 70 now, but worb still only lasts 5 seconds from 10 stages (or at least that's what it says under the icon at the top left)
It still "works", but they heavily nerfed how it scales, so I personally don't think stacking duration is worth at all anymore. That build guide is dated and I don't recommend following it :(

Hey Nathan. Have you tried Astral Projector with Pyroclast Mine? AFAIK it does work since pyroclast is a nova effect from the mines pov. by using Astral Projector they should all trigger right on top of the enemy no matter how far out they are spread from your throwing.
@@chodenode No it also helps boss dps, because all the mines will spit their ball exactly above the boss leading to a higher dps, due to more balls hitting. Also helps clear of course.
If i use a 6 link chest cause i have stored, untill i can buy a 6 link martyr of innocence to pyroclast viable? Or there is much difference besides the overkill damage?
i'm a new player and I don't really get why he put minefield and TAM Dammage supports with fireball. In game it says that they don't work together. Can someone explain?

But even unchecking all the flasks, taking out some gear pieces entirely, removing skill points I hadn't obtained it was still almost double what I have, so I figured maybe the actual number ingame was different. Couple of questions. Where do you get the focus skill from in your build? also your rolling flames only has 30int in the area and will not get radius bonus.
Focus is a skill that will be on your bars if you equip at least one piece of gear that reads "X when you focus", and threshold jewels don't need to have their required stats allocated to work.
Nice vid, I'm new to PoE and started miner, can you tell me do you have leech whit mines or you get Blood Drinker (3:41) only for the max life? And yea I know it's AD but I want to know for SD and ES?
Sorry, I guess I didn't fully understand the question. You cannot leech at all with mines unless you are using a specific unique glove called Machina Mitts.
Thanks for the Tip about using mine detonation in sequence, i am using Pyro as a boss killer and GC to clear, Just like to ask do you have to keep throwing down mines during the detonation sequence ? i am just curious to ask what jewels you might suggest. Thks

If you're using rolling flames only for the 13% fireball dmg, why not use a decent rare gem. For instance 5% increased Damage 10% increased Spell Damage 12% increased Mana Regeneration Rate +12% to Fire Resistance is 4c currently. I don't get why you'd use rolling flames with 30 int. Or even with 40 int, since the fb has enough range, but a decent Jewel can make a good difference
Currently running this with a 5L Martyr and a 5L Tremor and only 1 "Increased buff effect" and 1 "increased fire dmg" ring respectively, what should I prioritise most on upgrading? As in, one of the two staves six-linked or a ring with both mods or what?
Similar situation as you. I decided to try to find one of the expensive rings first. I feel like a 5-link tremor rod works just fine for clearing (I left off minefield, not sure if that was best choice). Bosses/metamorphs are about the only place I get my ass kicked, so figure getting a 6L Martyr would probably be better bang for the buck. YMMV - I'm a newer player too.
Hi i had a question in regards to the forked gem. I had an incredibly frustrating time trying to get the right colors so i was left with a red socket. can i use inspiration and have the same outcome?
1 week late response, but you don't have to actually allocate the int nodes, you just need them to be in radius in order for the jewel to work. Therefore the range will apply, even tho the int nodes aren't allocated. This is true for every gem that requires dex, str or int in radius.
@@Sepulchrality the problem is that, 40 int it is not there even in radius :p u just get the fire DMG bonus, which is small boost honestly compared to any rare jewel, cheers

ive played ice shot for a while now and i now realized that its boss damage is way to low for the league is it viable for me to just sell my gear and start this mine build cuz it seems like fun :)
The circle of anguish with these stats are really exspensive...could i also take a cheaper one (only with herald buff effekt ) or should i look than for rare rings ?
hi, im little confused about the CWDT links, on PoB it says need to be lv max and steelskin too, but if whe keep both gems low level it wont be easier to proc steelskin?
@Cudi Grilo steelskin + cwdt is mainly an auto oh shit gem setup for high damaging boss or blue pack encounters in t16s or other higher tier content. We have more than enough damage mitigation from other defensive layers in this build for lesser encounters. If cwdt + steelskin is low, it might proc often but its damage mitigation will not be as effective.
Hey, you showed a staff with +2 to all spell gems and +3 to fire spell gems, I can't figure out how you get those. I know it's in PoB, but both searching trade and going over mods on poedb seems to suggest you can only get +1 for spells and +2 for fire gems. Am I missing something here?
It's quite rare but those mods can indeed exist together, you'd probably just have to use faceted fossils or something. This is shown on poedb under staves, and there is one for sale in SC metamorph right now as well: i.imgur.com/C2k2dST.png Like I said, I didn't theorycraft this option much since it's so overkill, but it is indeed possible.

Try out Cobra Lash pathfinder with the perfect form, evasion to armor conversion+vaal molten shell: Facetanking metamorphs(except they do chaosdmg which surpasses the shield) :D
Try out a watcher's eye with unaffected by poison and the jewel the golden rule if you're not already. It will give 100 chaos res at max stacks as well as doubling the speed at which your poison buffs stacks (assassin ascendancy, virulence, vile toxins etc)
Weird question. I have never built a tarp or mine build. I tested if I would like to play mines and they seem clunky. Can this be built as a FB trap build without the pyroclast?
Mayplex123 Mayplex the craft that has “when you focus” adds a hotkey. You gain the ability to focus from the craft itself and you press whatever key-bind you choose to activate whatever your “focus” setup is. Hope that explains it
For some reason when I trigger fireball, i am always left with 5 mines, why is that? does it not trigger the same way as with pyroclast? EDIT: is this some funky thing with tremor? I don't see how detonating it a second time is all that helpful?
Yes, its tremor. It's useful because it means you can detonate the mines while running, instead of having to cast a second set of them to do the same thing. It's super useful for screen clearing spells like fireball, as you can throw it into one pack, detonate, and then as you are moving off screen to the next one you can detonate again and fireball will catch up to you killing the next pack. It's a huge time saver. It's also essentially doubling your mines placed, without affecting the reserve. And If I have been noticing it correctly, this works with sequencing too ...having longer sequences without effort.
How are you using fireball as mine since you don't have remote mine ? i can't figure this out cuz i did the 6 link like you and i can only cast it myself...
I personally don't like them (you need perfect rolls and 4 power charges to compensate for the lost life recovery rate) but if you like how they feel, go for it!
He basically said in the video at gearing : "You'll need X strengh to equip your kaom's heart". So basically the goal is to have two staff one in main hand and other in weapon change for each mine and a kaom's heart for more life and slight more fire damage.
It can hold 6 - I just used jewellers orbs last night to get it. Maybe nobody is selling a 6 socket version. If you try to get 6 sockets and 6 links on your own, make sure to get it to 20% first, and probably on a duplicate you are not using in case you run out of orbs.

Playing glacial cascade miner atm, which is also an amazing one.
Did not know about the trigger mine sequenece breaking though, and that would explain why my damage feels somewhat inconsistent at times I guess, but few fights lasts long enough for it to matter. Anything but the very end bosses are perma frozen anyway, so haven't really put much thought into it.
It does make me wonder how this affects the spell totem though. If you go looking, many builds suggests to link trigger mines with a spell totem, and then just spam mines on longer fights. It feels more comfortable for sure, but It sounds more like that is a bad idea if it keeps breaking the sequence. Then it would be better to focus on manually triggering less often for bigger bursts. Although in my case, its the continuous cascade of ice to the face that keeps them frozen.
So does the totem also break it or does it wait for a sequence to end before it starts a new one?
Not sure how smart it is, only know it does not cast without mobs nearby. Also not sure if the mobs need to be in range of the actual mine, or if it just detonates closest mine as soon as a mob is near the totem. With the cascade filling the screen and traveling an adittional 2 screens away it's hard to tell. Anyone done any testing on this?
i heard early in the league that tremor rod was bugged... GGG came out and said it was working as intended but some said it felt really bad did you have any issues with it?
Another fun option is replacing one of the rings with an astral projector. You can still absolutely melt bosses without that second anguish, and it eliminates the need for a weapon swap. Fireball looks cool, but the projector makes pyroclast a decent enough clear skill on it's own as well.
How does it change the nature of the mine to make it a good clearing ring?
@@chodenode It makes any nova skill cast at the target instead of around the source. Think shock or frost nova. When you normally cast those, it is an AoE centered around you. With the ring on, it casts at the target location(your cursor). Pyroclast is a nova skill, so with the ring on, instead of the mine detonating at the mine, it targets the nearest enemy and detonates there, even if they are several feet away. In short, it detonates on a target rather than the mines location.
@@CouchGuy19 I see what you're saying. So it just improves it for clear speed, but not necessarily for bossing, right? Have you had better experiences using pyroclast in this fashion for clearing maps?
@@chodenode Yeah, it is mainly for clear speed. It is a little less damage because you use a ring slot, but even for some bosses you don't need your mines on top of them for the mines to hit them. To answer your last question, I'm honestly only going off of what I've seen and been told. I've watched a few vids on it, and one of my buddies uses the ring after I told him about it and he swears by it. He was originally doing a weapon swap for clear, but after getting the ring, he now uses pyroclast for clear and bossing.

But i wonder in your path of building you are using a rolling flames cobalt jewel but there are no 40 int in the radius. So this jewel is not usefull at all or do i miss something ?

Hi Nathan, I loved your commentary on this video. I'm planning to do this build. I've played Endurance Charge Molten Strike Jugg. this league and I've completed all the content. I have to say that was very solid and damage was decent. Now the main thing is, I have ~50 exalts of budget. If I try to do this build, how would be my damage? I thought I can buy the ''luxury'' items that you've stated but I want to hear your comment. How much is the cost of those luxury category build approximately? Thanks for your work!
The footage taken in this video was done with around 20ex invested, so at least a bit more than that!
@@nathanbrotherbob Alright thanks. Also, did you try using Anger instead of Skitterbots? According to PoB, Anger gives more DPS and it lets us to buy a fire pen. Watcher's eye (not so expensive as stand alone) but Skitterbots have some utility stuff going on, if I'm not mistaken. What do you think? Anger is %50, maybe mana problems?

Nice video! I’ve been running Miner since league start but its a different build to yours. I’m running MoM with Ice Spear for single target and Arc for clearing. Just a question: do you think Pyroclast mines are better for bossing than Ice Spear? Seeing you decimate bosses like in this video makes me feel like I’ve made a mistake using Ice Spear, even though I still do kill most bosses in 15-20 secs with awakening 5+
Pyroclast has absurd burst, but as I tried to convey in the latter part of my video, it can be tricky to pull off. The new unique ring, Astral Projector, probably helps a lot with that, but I didn't want to give up my second Circle of Anguish. I do think Pyroclast has better potential than ice spear to one tap bosses (all footage was done at woke 8), but getting it to perform better in "real world" scenarios will require some practice.
Nathan Walker thanks for the response! I will probably farm some currency the coming days and try to make a new character with this build, it seems a lot better at bossing than my miner right now. That, or I reroll and sell some of my current gear to get your recommended items! Already have a 6L tremor rod and I’m using a 6L Loreweave for my Ice Spear which I could maybe sell for some of the stuff in your recommended gear section. Thanks for the build guide!

1. How does Wise Oak flask work with this build? I currently have fire res at highest overcapped (110ish%) and my lightning and cold res are around 100%. Does this give me fire pen?
2. I bought a strength-int ilvl85 helmet base with 2 extra pyroclast projectiles base for 2ex and I'm trying to craft life and the fossil -9% fire res to nearby enemies mod on it. Which fossils would you recommend me to use?

The sequencing shenanigans is why I don't like pyroclast at all. That's why I hold my glass high to ball lightning.
played an eternity shroud icicle miner last league, it fucking shredded bosses when you swapped chain for cold to fire.
I've been running Icicle mines all content and found that with an Enlighten 4 connected to Zealotry, Herald and Precision you can run all 3 and still lay out 19 mines+. Enduring mana flask is required but it's better damage than Skitterbots, not that Pyroclast needs more damage but endgame goals.
how does fireball mine feel compared to icicle? icicle create more projectile and can freeze and more crit, i'm looking toward trying out fireball
@@Thjr13enGhost Fireball clears much better since they nerfed icicle mine, so I would recommend using fireball over icicle mine. You can also only use pyroclast mine with the new ring astral projector, which will make mines autotarget enemies and cast pyroclast on top of them, making the clear actually enjoyable

Else focus/fire pen is better than controlled/combustion. Cont is really bad on mines generally. And if you don’t wanna swap that you should at least go explosives expert since you aren’t using tremor aswell. Ur focusing more on front end but less total damage so explosives might give a bit more. Tremor is impossible to beat in terms of total damage.
I just get into maps with this build and get the currency to buy the rings. I wanna know if there's any difference between a vaal fireball gem 21/23 and fireball gem 21/23? Because the first one I can get for 15c and the second one for 60c. Thx and good work! Nice guide and build!

I'd personally drop trap and mine damage on the fireball setup and controlled destruction on the pyroclast one!
Does anything change in 3.10 with the new cluster jewels? I think a medium jewel that gives mine damage bonus as well as a socket for a small life jewel would be good.

I'm a little confused about the herald of ash gem, though. Why have it so that it's cast when you focus? Is the mana reservation to intensive or something?
Herald of ash doesn't actually have anything to do with the focus setup (you can't trigger skills that reserve mana) - that just happened to be where I fit it into my own build.
Hey Nathan, I have a question about your older winter orb build. Does skill effect duration still work with the skill? I took both duration nodes early on in the tree and am around level 70 now, but worb still only lasts 5 seconds from 10 stages (or at least that's what it says under the icon at the top left)
It still "works", but they heavily nerfed how it scales, so I personally don't think stacking duration is worth at all anymore. That build guide is dated and I don't recommend following it :(

Hey Nathan. Have you tried Astral Projector with Pyroclast Mine? AFAIK it does work since pyroclast is a nova effect from the mines pov. by using Astral Projector they should all trigger right on top of the enemy no matter how far out they are spread from your throwing.
Is the idea here just that it helps for clearing mobs, not for improving boss dps? Sorry - I'm new, so trying to understand this.
@@chodenode No it also helps boss dps, because all the mines will spit their ball exactly above the boss leading to a higher dps, due to more balls hitting. Also helps clear of course.

@@nathanbrotherbob I did! But even unchecking all the flasks, taking out some gear pieces entirely, removing skill points I hadn't obtained it was still almost double what I have, so I figured maybe the actual number ingame was different.

Couple of questions. Where do you get the focus skill from in your build? also your rolling flames only has 30int in the area and will not get radius bonus.
Focus is a skill that will be on your bars if you equip at least one piece of gear that reads "X when you focus", and threshold jewels don't need to have their required stats allocated to work.
Nice vid, I'm new to PoE and started miner, can you tell me do you have leech whit mines or you get Blood Drinker (3:41) only for the max life? And yea I know it's AD but I want to know for SD and ES?
Blood Drinker is just for % life

Sorry, I guess I didn't fully understand the question. You cannot leech at all with mines unless you are using a specific unique glove called Machina Mitts.

Yes, you absolutely have to keep throwing mines. Otherwise, your detonation sequence will end right as you approach maximum burst DPS.

If you're using rolling flames only for the 13% fireball dmg, why not use a decent rare gem. For instance
5% increased Damage
10% increased Spell Damage
12% increased Mana Regeneration Rate
+12% to Fire Resistance
is 4c currently. I don't get why you'd use rolling flames with 30 int. Or even with 40 int, since the fb has enough range, but a decent Jewel can make a good difference
U mean the unique jewel for the fireball? Its really good for the build because the fireball go much more away so the cleare speed is

Currently running this with a 5L Martyr and a 5L Tremor and only 1 "Increased buff effect" and 1 "increased fire dmg" ring respectively, what should I prioritise most on upgrading? As in, one of the two staves six-linked or a ring with both mods or what?
Similar situation as you. I decided to try to find one of the expensive rings first. I feel like a 5-link tremor rod works just fine for clearing (I left off minefield, not sure if that was best choice). Bosses/metamorphs are about the only place I get my ass kicked, so figure getting a 6L Martyr would probably be better bang for the buck. YMMV - I'm a newer player too.
Hi i had a question in regards to the forked gem. I had an incredibly frustrating time trying to get the right colors so i was left with a red socket. can i use inspiration and have the same outcome?

1 week late response, but you don't have to actually allocate the int nodes, you just need them to be in radius in order for the jewel to work. Therefore the range will apply, even tho the int nodes aren't allocated.
This is true for every gem that requires dex, str or int in radius.

ive played ice shot for a while now and i now realized that its boss damage is way to low for the league is it viable for me to just sell my gear and start this mine build cuz it seems like fun :)
The circle of anguish with these stats are really exspensive...could i also take a cheaper one (only with herald buff effekt ) or should i look than for rare rings ?
Yeah I completed Sirus (lvl 5) with this build with only 1 CoA, and it's +fire res, +herald buff effects cost only 20c :)
hi, im little confused about the CWDT links, on PoB it says need to be lv max and steelskin too, but if whe keep both gems low level it wont be easier to proc steelskin?
@Cudi Grilo steelskin + cwdt is mainly an auto oh shit gem setup for high damaging boss or blue pack encounters in t16s or other higher tier content. We have more than enough damage mitigation from other defensive layers in this build for lesser encounters. If cwdt + steelskin is low, it might proc often but its damage mitigation will not be as effective.
Hey, you showed a staff with +2 to all spell gems and +3 to fire spell gems, I can't figure out how you get those. I know it's in PoB, but both searching trade and going over mods on poedb seems to suggest you can only get +1 for spells and +2 for fire gems. Am I missing something here?
It's quite rare but those mods can indeed exist together, you'd probably just have to use faceted fossils or something. This is shown on poedb under staves, and there is one for sale in SC metamorph right now as well: i.imgur.com/C2k2dST.png

Try out Cobra Lash pathfinder with the perfect form, evasion to armor conversion+vaal molten shell: Facetanking metamorphs(except they do chaosdmg which surpasses the shield) :D
Try out a watcher's eye with unaffected by poison and the jewel the golden rule if you're not already. It will give 100 chaos res at max stacks as well as doubling the speed at which your poison buffs stacks (assassin ascendancy, virulence, vile toxins etc)
Weird question. I have never built a tarp or mine build. I tested if I would like to play mines and they seem clunky. Can this be built as a FB trap build without the pyroclast?
You could, but you'd have single target problems unless you could come up with a similar weapon swap.
If you want to do traps, i'd recommend you do ball lightning or lightning trap, really good clear and good single target.

Mayplex123 Mayplex the craft that has “when you focus” adds a hotkey. You gain the ability to focus from the craft itself and you press whatever key-bind you choose to activate whatever your “focus” setup is. Hope that explains it
For some reason when I trigger fireball, i am always left with 5 mines, why is that? does it not trigger the same way as with pyroclast?
EDIT: is this some funky thing with tremor? I don't see how detonating it a second time is all that helpful?
Yes, its tremor. It's useful because it means you can detonate the mines while running, instead of having to cast a second set of them to do the same thing. It's super useful for screen clearing spells like fireball, as you can throw it into one pack, detonate, and then as you are moving off screen to the next one you can detonate again and fireball will catch up to you killing the next pack. It's a huge time saver. It's also essentially doubling your mines placed, without affecting the reserve. And If I have been noticing it correctly, this works with sequencing too ...having longer sequences without effort.

Yep 1 CoA is enough, doesn't even need +fire dmg. But I found this build a bit rippy at high-tier legions, need to keep a distance..

I personally don't like them (you need perfect rolls and 4 power charges to compensate for the lost life recovery rate) but if you like how they feel, go for it!

instead of a rare armor can we use carcass jack or kaoms heart?
He basically said in the video at gearing : "You'll need X strengh to equip your kaom's heart". So basically the goal is to have two staff one in main hand and other in weapon change for each mine and a kaom's heart for more life and slight more fire damage.

It can hold 6 - I just used jewellers orbs last night to get it. Maybe nobody is selling a 6 socket version. If you try to get 6 sockets and 6 links on your own, make sure to get it to 20% first, and probably on a duplicate you are not using in case you run out of orbs.
